That doesn’t mean anything mate ! The best attacking coach right now was our prop in 05 . The best attacking coach of all time was a prop - Tim Sheens .
In fact , and this is based on arbitrary nonsense and if anyone wants to debunk it - go for it , the most defensive coaches from my experience are usually backs .
It means something, cmon it really does.
Yea sure, Tim Sheens was a prop and became an attacking coach (not the best of all time IMHO and not the best right now. Bellamy/Bennett ahead of him and Haslier IMHO is a better attack coach.). But yea, he coached fast football and not a traditional Prop game.
Payten, he is a better attacking coach then I thought he would be. But he got help, including help from Thurston. He knew his weaknesses and got help to make up for them.
Parra coaches: Jason Ryles, Sam Moa, Nathan Cayless, Nathan Brown and some ex Rugby player...
Bar the Ex rugby dude, were talking all Props and jes Nathan Brown would be the best point scorer of that bunch.
Which tells me that Parra is basically going to muscle up. Not necessarily defense, but muscle and grunt up. This is an actual rebuild plan.
Bold Prediction: I could see Ryles even rejecting Galvin.
