Mate, I am so sick to death of the doomsdayers that endlessly predict Galvin leaving every time anything else happens in the entire NRL.. signings. Suggestions and rumours thread for supporters I thought would be fans of this club speculating on players coming to the Tigers , not this endless defeatist voyeuristic hunger to see out own star juniors leave ever damn day.. it does my head in .. FFS 🤦

Im still amazed he didnt, Simon clearly belted him in the head.
Big credit to JWH who took that massive shot and didnt complain.
Glad the game didnt end with a penalty shot at goal.
Would be interesting to see what would have been said though had that dope Heighington dived on the ball and we won.

So far today I have read someone saying someone from inside the Galvin camp claims he’ll be at Parra, another claim that his father wants him at the Roosters, and a third implying he will soon re-sign with us. Gotta love the internet.

The rumour is Galvin is taking out an AVO against some of the people on the West Tigers Forum!! Just a rumour!!

Three finals series in twenty five years will do that. We need to be a consistent finals side to really say we have turned the ship around. No point having one outlying season like the Warriors had in 23. Just getting into a position where we can be regular finals contenders like the Sharks or Raiders. Even the Knights. Their squad is bog average. Take away Ponga and they have nothing, but they get there. There’s no excuse for us.

Scar tissue takes a long time to fade mate, wins can have an effect like a healing oil.

People upset with signings like Falls and Hope, don't seem to understand we had players like Ryan and Valevatu playing in the spine last year.
Falls is better for our cup squad than Sullivan.

Falls was very good for Wynnum last year in the Qld Cup

They were rumours. Someone heard from someone else etc...
The theories are suggestions - also part of this thread.
There is no rule that any of the signings, suggestions or rumours put out into this thread have to be positive.

Gutho was broken down, and they have Iongi now. The coach is an unknown. They could really go either this year. To call them a sinking ship is uninformed. And this is coming someone who hates that club.

Are they stronger than last year though?
The coach might be the best ever needs time before anyone can judge, I just think they are weaker than last year and if Brown or Moses leaves I can't see them being a destination club.

We've all been done this road before, only this time we have reno'd the squad have the best ceo in the business and have fingers crossed finally a fully independant and competent boardroom.
Only question is still on Benji but apart from that we should be moving in the right direction.
