Is it true that Jackson Hastings never got into an Argument with Ricky Stuart, Craig Bellamy and Wayne Bennett?
I just wonder how many players actually manage to piss off all 17 NRL coaches at once? You know, not just your own coach, but every coach in the game. I mean that's like superpower hatred.

Ryan Matterson refusing to pay a $3000 fine, nah that just pissed off Brad Arthur with everyone else laughing at Parra!


Passionate players will argue. But how to we work with that?
Farah and Marshall got into huge spats on how to play the game. I get it, they both had passion and different ideas. How do we shape argument into stuff that improves or even wins us games?

But let me say that if the coach wanted him he would be still here. I don’t think Benji has the personality or coaching credentials to handle agressive senior players. Someone like Bennett or Bellamy would have handled it differently. They would have taken Bateman to a quiet space and told them what the problems were, it sounds like Benji wanted to establish power in the dressing room by taking on a hard head in front of his younger players.
So, imo, Bateman was made a scapegoat and as an international he probably felt aggrieved.
After that I’m sure Richo and Benji sat down to work out an exit plan. Yeah, let him go to England for Xmas, but start looking around for a new club.
Benji can’t afford to have anyone around who might challenge him. He’s fighting for his life you know so the club have said, we’ll back you but no results this year and you’re gonsky.

Who really knows what happened, all we can do is observe what happened on the field and he wasn’t the senior head that was needed.

Maybe most aren't looking far enough up the ladder when they're looking for a senior head.....
Funny in this whole thing,
I remembered back to when Farah said Potter couldn't coach - Most backed Farah,
Potter lost his job and has never really been considered for a top job since,
And he had experience.
Like I've said before
- Maybe Johnny knows something all of us here don't and others that do are too scared trying to save face by not saying anything.

Last bloke to earn his debut at this club I reckon was David Gower, Maybe Farlow at a stretch.
It Stinks, Jordan Miller claiming his hard work had paid off to earn his debut made me vomit in my mouth - A 19 year old kid who's 6'4" and 130kg...
Never had to work on or off the park in his life.

He was the next big thing apparently.
Where is he now? I don't see clubs battling for this future immortal's signature.

Like many footballer's of his age he needs to fix his attitude and put in the hard work because when you get to grade it's a whole new scenario where attitude is at least as important as ability.

If you're 19, and you have ever had even a fleeting thought of playing NRL, and your body looks like his, that tells me everything I need to know about him.
 
The sooner we put a picture of Jordan Miller in every junior dressing room with a caption "If you allow yourself to look like this you will never paly junior reps. for Wests" the better.

Quite poor IMO.

Bateman and Tigers were always going to have a fallout. Bateman has terminated his last 3 contracts before coming here and we have had our fair share of messy break ups with players.
 
Something has happened between Johny and the club no one will ever find out exactly what otherwise he would still be here if he was happy, what I didn't like was the parting shot with the crocodile image after he was payed good money by the club before he left, just left a disrespectful taste.

Mate agree with the Brooks situation all the time he was here he repeated that he was a running half but the rugby league mad scientists at the club insisted he could run the team think he should have left when the other 3 jumped ship, it would have hurt at the time but would have been the best thing for him.

Respectfully, we chased about 44 halfbacks to play with Lick Bricks and signed a few dud ones, Pascoe couldn’t close a deal on a happy meal.

No good one would want to come to an asylum run by the fruitcakes, so lucky we got Luai the way he did been out for a couple of hours any news on his injury
