I just think it's smart business in relation to cap management. Ive seen next to no passion from Klem in years the stuff that use to make him an enforcer that every player was wary of . If you get an opportunity to move on a player past his best taking up that much cap space, you act.

I get the argument of having an experienced head in the forwards room but he just doesn't seem that enthusiastic or hungry. The last thing you want is a high paid player going through the motions as an example to the young ones. I have no idea how he is off the field so I could be wrong about him, but his own field play was just indifferent and declining.

His manager only gets commission when he rights a new contract.

There’s value in what he’s saying though . Watch the roosters go shit this year , and the narrative will be around there being “no forward leader” , so they’ll go buy someone else’s forward leader .
I’m just not sold that that value hasn’t been used up . The positives of klemmer is he’s a great trainer and a good person to have around the group. You get the most value from someone like that in the preseason , as mid season , a lot of the training is recovery and maintaining fitness .
Look it’s pretty obvious what’s going to happen though . He will go to the dragons play amazing and we will all be talking about how dumb it was moving off him .
And if he stays here he will play shit and we will gripe about how we should have got rid of him . This is the Murphys law of being a tigers fan haha !

I bought a Family ticket for tonight at $140 on the Hill and then they release kids under 15 are free with a paying adult which cost me $50 more now. We do not tend to look after the supporters who have put up with years of poor results.

This my not happen as the drag queens are demanding compensation to sign molo , I just don’t see a club doing this the drag queens are in a pickle, molo refuses to play for them , they get KLEMMER for a steal yet they want something for molo , good luck red v

Klemmer was probably surplus to requirements and on too much money.

I thought he played well his first year with us but last year he just looked like he was moving through wet cement. He struggled with the speed of the ruck in so many games and it looked like his legs were gone.

There were reports that he was disgruntled and at least this way he doesn’t activate next years clause.

We can use the money on securing a centre and maybe a middle for cheap and Klemmer will probably have more opportunities at the Dragons.

A Dragon supporter said to me Flanagan is replacing like for like with Molo and Klemmer. He seemed happy to be getting Klemmer.
