Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I should post WTs has Galvin for the next 2 years at a bargain rate compared to what other clubs would offer him. Plus we have one of the best halves in the game in Luai whose impact on our team will be pronounced.

Reality of the situation is
- Galvin can literally sign a contract with another Club in 8 months.

Okay. I want to work with you here. You have my attention moreover respect. What is this hype you talk of? Yet in the same breath he would be one of the first players named in your team for next week. Thats where the water starts to get a bit murky.

So we're back to being scared about Galvins future. Nice.
lol panic merchants . As long as we have luai , I honestly couldn’t care less . He’s a massive talent for sure , but if we keep the pathways going strong another one will come up . We already have a pretty good fall back option in Fainu .
And if we win this year it’s going to make leaving a tough decision for the kid.
Sure he may be the first 2mil player , but only if PVL negotiates the deal everyone thinks he will , moving the salary cap up to 20 mil . Even then most likely 1.5m .
Hes a gun , no doubt , but man its not like hes single handedly winning games for the club at the moment like for example , Kalyan Ponga has been doing for the knights , or turbo for the eagles .
If we trust in the pathways like the panthers , there’s will be another 2 or 3 galvins in the not too distant future .
I mean onitoni large was said to be better than Galvin and Fainu . And that’s extremely debatable if not utter hyperbole nonsense .
So it’s already happening , even though he left .

I hope now everyone understands your philosophy. Its all Galvin's fault. The 19 year old kid.
That deliberately obtuse & not what Tucker has said at all, all along.

Somehow, a reasoned statement that Galvin hasn't changed the fortune's of the club becomes "it's all Galvin's fault".

That's really the issue for the Galvin hype train pumpers. We have a handful of people terrified this kid will leave & the club will be the worst ever etc, etc, etc.

One player doesn't change everything. One incomplete player isn't worth sinking everything into. It doesn't mean the likes of Tucker blame Galvin for everything. Just pointing out that the hallowed ground he leaves behind was still a pretty awful result.
