Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I thank God there were no mobiles in my day when we'd head down to Wests rugby club after the pubs shut... I'm sure Iooked ridiculous on the dance floor

I have a feeling I played against you in the dead ball area after a game at Lidcombe Oval. You ran away from.us all. Nobody could tackle you. I had some great games there. Was that you?

The thing I love about Galvin is his work ethic seems the kind of guy that will be first there and last to leave

You either have that or you don't it's a mind set of self discipline
I don't think he was one of the five reported to be training on a day off a few weeks back.... That said he obviously works hard wouldn't be holding club training records if he didn't

Talk of a mill a year for Galvin is premature. He has the makings of an elite player, but he hasn't had finished a second season yet.

Dylan Brown has played NRL and international footy for a long time and he has earned the right to ask for bigger money. To me, it's overs for him anyway. Remember Luai is on 1.2 mill. Either we got a bargain or Parra will overpay.

Assuming this season is an improvement on last, Galvin is worth 700k max for the next 3-4 years. He's not single-handedly winning games for us to command over a million just yet.
Parramatta dogs newcastle roosters they will all load up to get galvin once brown is off the market.
A player is worth what the market is prepared to pay and he will ne the Best player coming off contract, he will easily 1.2 million i reckon

I agree he will be in demand and could probably argue a few more clubs than those you mention will be interested. The issue is he will be in demand after the next 2 years because we have him. I am comfortable with that and if WTs gets two good years out of him and the additions to the roster that have been made, we should be in a much better position on the ladder. In this new age of the NRL, certainty is a luxury.
