OFFICIAL Terrell May #296

This thread is full of hyperbole. Give him his day in court, best case scenario he signs with us. Court of public opinion doesn't mean anything. He's still in shape & training with his brothers & tagos (cousin). See what happens I suppose...
Problem being he's already had a day in court and been found guilty. And then there's his like for filming himself driving at double the speed limit in residential areas. I agree he's entitled to his day in court and a presumption of evidence but it's not like this current thing is a one-off.

He really does sound like a pea brain. But man, I am so sick of losing. If he is still the player he was at Penrith, I want him here if he is cleared to play.

I don’t know about hyperbole…

That would make it quite unlikely if true. Believe the key piece of evidence here is his missus who seems to think he both hates (and broke up with) her as well as being a clever, cunning and conniving man that’s able to stalk her in clear breach of the ADVO conditions with no regard for the law. Unfortunately or fortunately for her, as many have said it’s likely he’ll be cleared unless guilty of something absolutely horrendous.

*some presumption’s made above

I don't understand. Are you saying I'm making presumptions?

My daughter's a DV police officer. There are many women out there using the system as a weapon, wasting police time, making life harder for the real victims of DV.
Just a thought, after reading the above comment, there is a great podcast about this called "Broken Fathers" talking about their experiences of dealing with exactly that.
Well worth the listen...

Why do so many people profess to be the judge and the jury ?
If it is proven he has been violent towards a woman he will be found guilty and he will not be playing NRL for any team.
HOWEVER he is pleading not guilty and awaiting a decision that will determine his fate as a professional rugby league player.
If he is found not guilty I will be more than happy to see him wearing Wests Tigers colours and think it would be fair for everyone to judge him on his actions moving forward.

Reminds me a bit of the Dylan Walker scenario or is it completely different?
FYI. Dylan’s case was dropped (can’t remember at what stage of the proceedings) and I doubt many have spoken about it again.

Hasn’t been found guilty of anything
He wasn’t driving the said car that was speeding through the school zone
After the police arrested him for allegedly being in breach of an AVO, they found that the AVO had been altered to allow him to see his wife

I believe Yossarian was referring to this prior assault conviction... check your facts!!

Except for the assault charge that @Yossarian mentioned where the magistrate found his actions to be "reprehensible" and "cowardly".

Come on, it’s way more complicated than definitely guilty or not guilty. As I’ve mentioned before he could be guilty as hell and still get off. It depends if she drops chargers fir her own reasons. Let’s be real guilty people get off all the time.
It’s just if u want to walk the moral high ground? Panthers chose to do so, but it’s easier to do so after 4 premierships in a row!

You don't need a diagram to explain what has been happening in the past behind church doors will leave it at that, but true it comes down to hopefully much more good than bad.
The education system seems to attract it as well. Does that mean all teachers are bad?

The issue is these people purposely put themselves in positions with a) access to kids and b) position of power.

Both church and teaching fit the bill.

It's nothing in the doctrine that promotes that behaviour. It happens much more in Islam, but you will never get a Muslim criticising Islam so it goes unchecked.

Crazy how much has changed since this clip, even looking at the screen behind him with Luai and ice switching teams and Terrell bombarding his future club in the clip. Even what he says about Penrith in his reasoning is said about us now.

No real point of this just found it funny all these coincidences

Your second sentence clearly shows that you don’t understand how the legal system works.

Many of the relentlessly violent and fatherless males guilty of ‘DV’ assaults on their partners to the nth degree are actually ending up vindicated or at least bailed out, then going to viciously murder their partners in cold blood, whilst police and legislators contemplate the use of ankle bracelets.

Please, please don’t offer comment on something that genuinely affects many lives with such ignorance…

I thought it was clear from the context of the earlier post I was talking about the previous assault. You’ll note at the end I refer to the presumption of innocence in his current matter.
