Agreed. His future is in the forwards. If things don't click in the first 6 weeks Benji has to make the callIf it doesn't work we move Galvin to back row .....if he doesn't like it ....too bad so sad .....

They played better tonight than they have in many years without these players back.
He isn't a starter ....can't say that enoughSeyfarth is a reserve grader.
Totally agree… pace out wide. Plus, maybe just me, but sick and tired with commentators saying how good our scramble defence was. It’s only because we missed sooo many tackles. Need to fix this quick smartGeez we a desperate for an explosive centre.
Tell me your creditianls for assessing same? If you haven’t played there you have no idea. Both our halves had decent games. Getting used to each other. If you haven’t played in a back line then I suggest you hold your lip.You can't honestly tell me that combo looked like it worked?
The problem is that at the moment galvin isn't good enough to be a nrl 7 at the moment, maybe years down the line that will change but right now he's very inefficient with the ball in hand.Galvin was average bc he is actually a 7.
He’s like Mitchel moses when we played brooks at 7 and Mitch at 6.
Galvin wants the ball or else he tries too hard when he gets it less.
I think if we struggle they’ll swap luai and galvin
Our attack structure was so pedestrian. Basic play from Luai to Galvin on the left. Zero play down the right.
May was huge. He is a class above any other forward we have
50+ missed tackles is a damning statistic.Sorry ……. losers. It’s in their blood.
Totally disagree we were monstered in the middle. That was not where the game was lostToo busy clapping the fella carrying the Log - Should have took the Burpees.
Still can't play for 80 mins, Had most of the ball in the first - All the calls and still keep our legs.
Still monstered in the Middle, Turuva, Doueihi, Twal and a few others largely ineffective....
It's all good, It's only Round 1.
Good thing there's lots of easier teams to play this year than that Knights side that were hopeless.
I think with the right coach he is good enoughThe problem is that at the moment galvin isn't good enough to be a nrl 7 at the moment, maybe years down the line that will change but right now he's very inefficient with the ball in hand.
he needs to realise he's not gooD enough to win the game by himself
What? We were utterly disgraceful in every aspect of the game. If we can't beat Newcastle at home when Newcastle were terrible themselves then we have no hope. That performance was embarrassing. We looked uncoached in attack and defence, we looked unfit, and we were our typical brain dead selves. Challenge up our sleeve and we don't use it with 2 minutes to go when we would have got the ball back attacking Newcastle's line. There is zero football IQ in this group. The hype is all fluff and once we blow this easy draw we have to start the season, we will all crawl back into our holes and start talking about rebuilds again.
You're dreaming thinking Galvin can play in the forwardsThe question is does Benji have the balls to move Galvin and play Latu at 5/8 we all know it needs to happen.
Galvin will have a dummy spit and ask for a release.
I see Galvin as a 13 not a 6
What do you think of starting with the Fainu bros, Sione and Samuela? He isn't a starter ....can't say that enough
Why?You're dreaming thinking Galvin can play in the forwards
This was my initial thought as well however, when you look at our centres the offerings are slim, 0 line breaks by AD, SF and HM. At least JS, ST and HM ran a lot of metres. Halves are only as good as the platform the forwards lay and the quality of their outside backs. Our guys didn’t even run a line that looked like it was going to create a chance. We have no speed or strength in our centres.55 missed tackles and Luai and Galvin offering nothing….incredibly disappointing
The try the knights scored through the middle was just sickening to watch, too many drop off tackles.50+ missed tackles is a damning statistic.
I’ll check them out next week with Bula and API back and JL improved by the run.
If things keep going as they are I think Galvin might look for greener pastures. He seemed unsure of his role, maybe that’s coz of the JL influence. Disappointing start after the usual Tiger pre season hype.
Not sure the camp taught them anything tangible.
I said we played better mate than a 3 spoon teamYou have no idea if u think we played well
