Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Not sure if Benji can coach but him and Richardson have done what should of been done years ago. Sought out the pathways, don't pay overs for has beens and target high profile players hat can add to our juniors.

We arnt a top 8 team this year but 3-4 players off being so.

Interesting times.
They have built the foundations for future success the way recruitment has been going you would expect the roll on to continue the comradery in those vids is a great advertisement, can he coach the guy is smart no reason why he won't get there over time he has rubbed shoulders with some of the best that's got to help.

Blake Lawrie is more of an attacking prop than Klemmer, who is more your defensive guy.

Lawrie has the ability to offload, that I like. And can be a handful to put down. A bit like Royce Hunt in terms of being difficult to put down. Not the same sort of player, but both require a couple of guys to stop them.

The bit that I dont get is why were not playing Klemmer NOW!
Were paying for him anyway atm,and we need all hands on deck.No game is a walk in the park
Im unconcerned about the issue of whether he incurs a major injury and becomes "unsalable" to Dragons ,because Klemmers option for next years contract is conditional on him playing 14 games THIS year.
If he gets a major injury,so be it...he still wont be with us next year cause he wont play sufficient games to trigger the extension .
Is this part of the family first thing...?
Need to be more ruthless

It could just as well be where he is seen in the pecking order now. We need inside info that we don't have otherwise it is all simply speculation. If our current prop rotation doesn't work I'm sure Benji will change it up - and he won't try and turn a halfback into a prop - pretty sure that is a Sheens only trait!🤣

I think it's because Benji thinks he isn't better then the middles he has picked. I agree with Benji. Klemmer doesn't make our top 17

Saw he won a heap of awards at the Dragons a few years back,
Think he won all the awards in the same he won 22% of the games he played in.

Pass - With a Fk NO on top....

Big call from Benji...and dont share that perspective.
But hes indeed the coach..and the one accountable..and the one seeing the training sessions,,and the one owning the results
So Ill back him...atm

Interestingly Klemmer was featured quite a bit in the documentary. You'd think his manager was looking around for a longer deal and found one, now he's ready to leave. Nothing more and nothing less to make of the Klemmer situation.

Don’t wanna damage the sold product.

Appi and Bulla make a big difference once in the team
Mason off the bench only
Twal was ok but Klemmer for mine still better
We need a centre and a hard running back rower urgently, not in 2026
If young May gets he clear in court I would sign him up .
Positives - May , Bird , Hunt and, Turuva , Skelton all were good
May very good , Hunt also with his runs
Fails - Galvin overplayed his hand , needs a kicking coach as that was very average to watch
Sione To start on right back row next week , Seyfarth bench .
If Bulla not ready - Staines to wing Turuva to Fullback
