Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

We have struggled to score points for a number of years. I don't know why it is, but everything seems to be done in slow motion in attack.

we also go a bit sideways, which doesn't work very well if everything is done at snails pace.
X 2

I notice most the other teams get the ball up the field way quicker than our team.

Attack is so clunky and predictable.
Saw a lot of it on Friday.

Api back in, will hopefully sharpen that up.
But we need our forwards and metre eating backs we now have to stay interested.

It's concerning to see so many games where the stats pop up on the screen and we have been tackled 20 times in the opposition 20 and the scoreline is still 0-0.

You're just not going to win many games if you are consistently struggling to score.

Api should help, but our halves are meant to be the architects for points and they looked lost.

A lot has been made of our defence by missing 57 tackles on the weekend, but had we scored just one more time, we win. Ultimately, the attack was what lost us the game.

Surprised supercoach isn't all over it.

We very rarely have multiple shots, Back to back.
It's almost become a running joke among fans on the hand out to Twal for a settler
late in the set close to the line.
It's not like he's EVER going to barge over, All it does is give the edges time to reset.
Ridiculous - I can't believe he's stupid enough to keep being there.

I always thought he was desperate to break his duck. And even when he finally did, it was textbook being in the right place at the right time.

It’s almost like we’ve decided not to spread the ball because we are crap at it.

We’re the only team that 10 metres out uses 3-4 tackles trying to get our props over the line. Was the same when Api was playing.

The Bulldogs and the Dragons have average halves and were able to effectively shift the ball.

When you are 10 meters out and on tackle 4 Twal, Seyfarth and some others should not touch the ball. They are decoys. We hit then 9 out of 10 times.

Its all in the play the ball speed. Somebody put the stats up the other day. It was only May that that was on the same page as the Knights forwards. There's nothing harder to defend then someone coming at you quickly before youve had time to reset and count numbers and that will never happen when the play the balls are so slow.
Noticed Pole stood up and looked at the ref hoping to get his attention for an infringement. Halts our momentum instantly.

Pole has a few highlight runs here & there. Contributes nothing else. Not fit enough, not enough desire to get fit enough. A lot of our guys, past & present, the same. As a club we've never had a hard edge or winning mentality. Backpackers on a working holiday.

Let the two players go who carried most of the defensive load - and the criticism - and can't see how we have effectively replaced them despite the additions of May and Hunt.

Slow play the balls, no shape in attack and to much sideways running.
Another thing we do a lot of in attack is run back into the markers instead of taking the metres available and forcing the opposition to backpedal to get back onside.

Benji is big on Pole.

Hell he starting most weeks I'd say.
Flashy prop.
Personally think he's more suited to the impact bench role but Benji isn't going that way.
I think it is either Pole or Hunt playing that impact role, not both coming off the bench.
