I remember him saying that.Brown came out and said he was worth $1M after his debut game. He was always going to be a mercenary.

I think Richo had to do the stadium deal for the $Has Galvin left yet or did I miss the announcement? Did he actually win us a game yet or his record still at like 25% W/L? What we do know is he was extended last year when his manager was angling for a release.
We have kept some of our best juniors under Richo eg. Makasini, Pole and really junior players like Godinet, Tapau-Moors and Xavier F.
I'm unsure what more people want from Richardson in terms of signings in a 12-month span. The stadium deal still sucks and that is my only criticism of him so far.
He keeps playing like last week he willHalves money. Same reason Galvin ain’t moving to the pigs.
Got to make sure Latu does not get p’d off also, give Galvin a deadline, won’t make him sign if he has no intention of doing so, but if he doesn’t sign, pick Latu in NRL, swap Galvin for a 2rfI've been saying for months that if the Tigers didn't get Galvin locked up before the start of the season he was as good as gone. Now it sounds like he never really engaged with even discussing an extension.
Whatever, it is what it is. It pisses me off that we don't seem to be able to retain any of our best young players - I mean, I know some are going to leave but I honestly can't think of the last time we had a genuinely coveted young player and they didn't sign elsewhere at the first opportunity or sooner (well, Tedesco was the second opportunity TBF but even that took a superhuman effort to stop him leaving... for Canberra, FFS). But c'est la vie.
What really irritates me is that the club must have known progress wasn't being made on an extension with Galvin, yet they still let Large go at least in part on the basis that he was stuck behind Galvin. There's a good chance this will end up being Papenhuysen all over again. If we're going to keep losing our young talent we have to maintain the queue coming through behind it, at least.
So the Roosters want him, but we don’t ?
Richo wanted to make a motza from the ticket prices at the trial, because if we keep losing with the players we have signed no one will be turning up to games for the rest of the year.Richo - why we got to pay an exorbitant fee for a trial game and our families?
Absolutely baffling.couldn’t they have just kept Terrell May ? 😂
There’s no way Richo doesn’t have the smarts to tell Galvin he’s here seeing his contract out and that’s exactly what will happen.Got to make sure Latu does not get p’d off also, give Galvin a deadline, won’t make him sign if he has no intention of doing so, but if he doesn’t sign, pick Latu in NRL, swap Galvin for a 2rf
And Bud will say tne same to Richo. I signed a contract. There’s no way Richo doesn’t have the smarts to tell Galvin he’s here seeing his contract out and that’s exactly what will happen.
Sign elsewhere or not, he’s here for 2 years and will be selected as Benji sees fit.
Releasing him early just sends a signal that regardless of your contracts, any manager any time can bully your player out of his contract.. won’t happen on Richos watch.
And if his form goes off, he’ll play reserve grade .
I’m at the point I really don’t care if he stays or goes. But either way, he’ll be here until end of season 2026.
His choice is simple.head down and become the king of campbeltown or float around for 2 years while Benji and Richo get on with it .
Or don’t .
It’s that simple
Yeah he keeps picking Drinkwater at fullback. Great in attack but never made a tackle in his life. How can you hype on about defence and allow no accountability? The way Todd is going he could come back home.
Wish that were trueThere’s no way Richo doesn’t have the smarts to tell Galvin he’s here seeing his contract out and that’s exactly what will happen.

And big Stef. Under Richos watch.Wish that were true
Ipap..Bateman...just walked away at their managers whim.Under Richos watch.
Galvin is on peanuts this year and next..if he signs elsewhere Nov 1........Im inclined to draw a line in the sand to those avoricious player managers and make him play out 2026.
Or ..give us a player in return
Works both ways
Ipap and Bateman were let go due to salary caps advantage’s for us. Galvins on peanuts relatively speaking , on current contract.Wish that were true
