Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I agree 100% - early signs aren’t great at all.

Quite frankly how his manager has conducted business over the last 12 months should bring his value down if anything.

It’s a shame because Galvin really does look the goods, but he’s being led by the worst of the worst that the NRL has to offer.

For his sake he should really run as far as he can from Issac Moses before it’s too late.
I reckon Galvin is on borrowed time at least as a half.
And I think his manager is trying to get him as exposed as possible so that he latches onto a big contract before he has to make the shift to the forwards when it is clear his lack of speed doesn’t pose a threat or provide enough time to his backline.
Mind you Nathan Cleary isn’t the quickest half going around.

Cleary is on another level though.
He's crafted his game at such an elite level.

Galvin couldn't tie his shoe lace.

I really don't understand how anyone can be surprised by the Galvin news/rumours.

Have we forgotten last years dramas around him? He has continually avoided any talks of an extension, was never going to happen. Best offer wins now, ideally with a premiership threat.

And again, it's far from dire - we have Latu.

Luai has never won a game in a clutch moment. Provide evidence if you have it
I agree Luai isn’t your typical clutch type player, he has always been surrounded by them.
That said, he has surely won games at the death for Penrith before…His linebreak and try assist in Game 3 last year was clutch. NSW never looked like scoring till he did that.

He doesn't lead any statistics in NRL or even close to it. Tries, try assists, etc. He's done all he has in a great penrith system picking his moments when on the front foot. On the back foot, which he contributed to on the weekend, he failed in the crunch moments. I'm prepared to say I'd prefer to have Luke Brooks right now who can actually win a game as opposed to luai who is simply not a match winner
In your opinion would you have given Luai a Try Assist on the one try they scored against the Knights ?
Statistics don’t mean much I remember one game the stats showed the Tigers Completion rate was 95%
Hey guess what we still lost,
As an old player I didn’t need to hear any statistics on a team mate to know if they were a good player or not, the best guide to know how good a player is, ask his teammates who are out there with him.

Absolutely baffling.
Only thing that makes sense is that he was ostracised for not getting along with the boys there. He is big on fitness, family and god.
That obviously doesnt align with the rank and file of that joint.
I think Terrell live at Mt Druitt or St Marys @Demps should know....doesnt really fit in with the Bondi Glamarama scene
Hes a westie fibro

Jerome isn't going anywhere, he talked others into coming.
If Galvin goes then surely the chooks. He wouldn't go back to the Eels with their ageing squad.... Bring in Latu.

And is it a coincidence they are playing each other and fox is trying to drum up interest in the game since both weren't much chop last week?

Brooks match winning try in golden point vs storm in 2018. At least 5 field goal games where he's won it for us. At least a few others. Up against luai who has never won a game with a goal kick, try assist, try, field goal or big play for his team. The game on the weekend exposed him. He's no main man
Only carried a Cleary less Penrith to the finals last year and won an origin series

I highly doubt Galvin goes to East's. Isaac Moses is his manager and Politis refuses to deal with him anymore. Teddy changed managers because of Uncle Nick's view of Moses.
