Galvin and his manager are certainly creating a media circus around his future contract.

If this ( get your cheque books ready) is true and he ain't commiting to our contract.

Very unsettling for the team given only rd 2.

I'd make him 18th man not cup( say to protect his mental health ) until the
media circus he and his manager surrounding them dies down (likely won't) and play Latu
with Luai. Train and sit on the bench until the circus stops. I love to see Latu step up to
the plate with his brothers.

As wierd as this sounds, I would be okay if Galvin did his MCL and was out for 6-8weeks, this would give us a real look at how Latu would fit in with Luai at 6....I reckon a Latu/Luai combination would gell better than a Galvin/Laui combination.

I’m not saying get rid of him. BUT if he signs elsewhere, it doesn’t take a brain surgeon to realise we need to put him on the back burner and give Latu every possible chance.

I'm sorry but reading over the thread is pretty embarrassing. He liked a post on insta so what, it's round 1, neither party owes you a response anytime soon..not the least start worrying if he's not extended by September at the least. I couldn't imagine being his old man reading over this thread I'd think there's some whackos

Club needs to sit him and his grub manager down and simply say we want you long term hear is you upgrade and additional 4 year deal , sign on or play reserve grade for the next 2 years , ps manager if you want him out of this club it a trade deal in our favour plus $ 300 k transfer payment

He won’t dropped of shifted position. He’ll be our 5/8 for the whole season. Question is what happens when he signs with another club over the off season. Do we just let him go early? Cos at that point, you’re better off wrapping up long term and giving him the keys. I suppose given Galvin won’t be on much coin, so we can’t probably afford to experiment with him in the centres or even the forwards. You absolutely DO NOT play him at 5/8.

Who stops anyone from talking to him or "bump" into him in a coffee shop or restaurant?
Can't "officially" offer a contract but clearly a "word of mouth" deal could be done well before September.

His manager would have multiple offers from clubs word of mouth , Parra , Roosters etc all could have said , 5 year deal get him hear for 2026 and we will pay him 800 , 900 , 1 million per year , simple just has to ride it out till November 1 , Tigers need to force the issue , we have Latu sitting waiting and Luai has already come out and said he is a gun , they are both very talented so , this could be the start for Latu , and if Galvin refuses to sign move him t Reseve grade or change his position , or do both in reserve grade

Nah I want him fit and healthy. Just at 18th man. I want players commited to the next game and the
future jobs ahead.Very distracted 19yo and manager.

18th man might be a good place someone who wants to be front and centre in the shop front
window. For a little while anyway.

Tend to agree in so far he needs to be moved out of 5/8.
If Galvin does a repeat of last weeks effort, I'm beginning to get the vibes he is not too smart--------- ie. in a vital position to direct play. Just loves running; somewhere? Not taking advice? Playing what's in front him, which is a team knowing his limitations. Backline cramped, nowhere to go if they do get the ball. One wasted tackle gone!
As a half, off loading to a smart 5/8.........following the forwards in the middle.
Or a centre getting in the face of his opposite. And not stifling the attack.
I believe Latu is a 5/8, not a half; as I believe Mason is not a fullback.

The media stuff came from here. One of the members found a post from a fan of his from Parra and he liked it. It all really has snowballed from there & people are speculating & trying to connect dots for no reason when we have a game come coming up, I swear we do this to ourselves most of the time smh...
