I believe the AFL and the AFL Players Union came to an agreement not to challenge it. I don’t know the specifics but I’m sure the players got a good deal from it.

Can't be the main man unfortunately. Never seen him own a game an stand up as the difference maker. Always happy to just do the bare minimum and let others do it around him. Him and Brooks are not too dissimilar

Brooks has always been surrounded by mid range or low talent players. Luai has always been in stacked teams. Come back in a year and we'll see what impact he has

It gets people upset because it spoils the truth. I was one of the first on here who said luai was coming to the club when he met Benji at his hunters hill home in late 2023 before the journos got hold of it. I'm one of the few who advocated for us to chase sitili tupouniua mid last year but got absolutely rinsed for even raising the opinion, have a look at how good he was for Bulldogs and his back end of 2024 for roosters. I'm not a product of the hivemind on this forum, nor am I a contrarian or conspiracist
