Latu will be our 7We need a damn time machine so I can slap:
Tim Sheens, Ivan Cleary, Benji, Macguire in the face till they stop picking LB at 7.
It will never make sense. MM was the 7 in the lower grades....
Moving forward. Unsure if Luai is our 7. Luai is a damn fighter and I like him. But really unsure if he is our 7.
This is a genius ideaI think the surprise move would be luring Wayne Bennett.
Richo should have the relationship already, Souths seems like a basketcase now.
Telling Benji "Hey your doing ok, but need to work on a few points with Coaching" may work if we can bring Bennett over.
... Yes before anyone else says it, it's a huge longshot. Including that souths would tank enough for them to punt Bennett.
Otherwise were in a really tight position with Benji. Notice how Sheens's signings have left us now?
It seems really obvious that Sheens signed that front row and are not onside with the coach. If Benji is replaced, it could be tough keeping some of our signings with a new coach. Exception being someone known from penrith (for good or bad).
They tried and Terry Hill sued for restraint of trade in the N.S.W Supreme Court and won, round early nineties. Ironically he was drafted to Eastern Suburbs I'm pretty sure but wanted to play for Western Suburbs. How times change. There must be a reason why the NRL won't touch it but no reason why they couldn't come up with a hybrid variation, good job for an NRL think tank.
I can summarise it as well.Download Chat GPT and point it to this thread. It will have a lot of work to do, but in a few seconds it will summarize all the dross on here for however long it has gone on. Well that’s what it’s meant to do. I can also summarize it for you pretty fast 😂

Tutty took on the transfer fee not the draft. Was the restraint of trade the Terry Hill one, or the Balmain Tigers guy in the 70's (Tutty maybe)?
Ridiculous that the NRL use this as a reason. So the AFL could attract thousands of law suits for all the players it has restrained via a draft???They tried and Terry Hill sued for restraint of trade in the N.S.W Supreme Court and won, round early nineties. I believe the AFL and the AFL Players Union came to an agreement not to challenge it. I don’t know the specifics but I’m sure the players got a good deal from it.Ridiculous that the NRL use this as a reason. Were the players at the time paid to vote for it?I believe the AFL and the AFL Players Union came to an agreement not to challenge it. I don’t know the specifics but I’m sure the players got a good deal from it.
Can't be the main man unfortunately. Never seen him own a game an stand up as the difference maker. Always happy to just do the bare minimum and let others do it around him. Him and Brooks are not too dissimilarWe need a damn time machine so I can slap:

I'd be very surprised ..I think the surprise move would be luring Wayne Bennett.

@GNR4LIFE was giving 500/1 he'd start in round oneCan we get a show of hands of how many had him in the starting 13 this year?
Hasn't stood out in any grade above Ball - And there's no real evidence he stood out there either.
RM Cup is where he belongs.
I'm not the only one. But what I say is factual. Even if it is the harsh truthrugbygoated just seems to death ride the club ,wakey wakey
Good teams attract good players and coachesBrooks has always been surrounded by mid range or low talent players. Luai has always been in stacked teams. Come back in a year and we'll see what impact he has
News looks badAny news on Taylan May? Hope we get him.
It gets people upset because it spoils the truth. I was one of the first on here who said luai was coming to the club when he met Benji at his hunters hill home in late 2023 before the journos got hold of it. I'm one of the few who advocated for us to chase sitili tupouniua mid last year but got absolutely rinsed for even raising the opinion, have a look at how good he was for Bulldogs and his back end of 2024 for roosters. I'm not a product of the hivemind on this forum, nor am I a contrarian or conspiracistI'd suggest blocking rugbygoated the account is a great combination of troll and clown in equal measure. The ignore function is incredibly underrated
