LIVE GAME Round 2 versus Eels

Live Game Discussion
Just reading all the comments. It doesn't take much to have everyone fist pumping.

We have not beaten anyone yet. Parra will basically be a bye for most teams this year. Good to get the win, but we didn't put 32 on Penrith or Melbourne. Gotta put it into perspective.

Isn't that that the whole point of supporting a football team?

Just enjoy it, no one is deluding themselves they are going to win the comp. Parra were an abomination, but Tigers played some good footy, a bright spot in an otherwise grim few years.

Cool your jets. I enjoyed it thoroughly and agree we played well.

You can really see the balance of the team coming together (LONG POST INCOMING)

Both wingers terrific in yardage and finishing, which allows Bula to get more footy in good position instead of having to be a work horse

Luai steering the ship allowing Galvin to play free flowing footy, Korisau also leading from dummy half

Love the balance of the forwards. May the work horse starts games, Pole follows him up using that wicked footwork and Twal keeps the middle solid

Bird comes off the bench and provided that ball playing ability in the middle of the field. TDS comes on and attacks tired defenders with his awesome running game. Hunt has MASSIVE impact off the bench, he's never played with so much effort

Keeping Sione Fainu to come on late can give us a great advantage, fully fresh against tired defenders using his footwork

Enjoyed them giving To'a early ball too. He's a player that works really well with a bit of space to run.

The attack will take time. I enjoyed seeing more off ball movement against Eels. Really hope we can get the second rowers, especially Sam Fainu, into the game. He was our best player last year but started the year quiet

Hopefully Fainus combo with Luai develops more and he gets more good footy near the line. Hasn't really seen it in the red zone running lines yet

There's a lot to build off that game. Dolphins are beatable!

Mate you know what I enjoyed the most? Bloody Turuva and how happy he was when he scored and how it pumped the fans. The Tiger claw they came up with to engage with the club and fans. Great stuff. Great to see them enjoying it out there.

I love these Penrith boys we bought.
