Warriors played really well . They barely dropped the ball, ran really hard etc. we lost players and we still almost won!
That warriors performance would have beaten most teams.

warriors played really well. Tigers lost 2 players to injury, one that screwed the interchange, then still had a chance to win. 2 no tries (Seyfarth should have known better) and a penalty that was a penalty but extremely unlucky.

The win would have been great but they fought hard and did us proud. Now we just need to win in Brisbane.

That penalty was harsh - NK was falling slightly, Seyfarth was just holding his ground. There was no forward force. He can’t do anything about that.
Teams will start looking for that in future imo.

My point is that while the loss is disappointing they fought really hard with players lost and got unlucky with a refs call. It’s not season over. It’s a lesson learnt for a young team.

All things considered, it was an amazing effort tonight.

But you can’t expect us to play with that much effort every week. We will wear out.

The two close losses to the Knights and Warriors could be the difference for us making the 8 or missing it. Or possibly, with some injuries and suspensions, winning another wooden spoon or not.

the scary thing for me is that behind the 18 they fielded last week, their depth is very poor … today they replaced Skelton with Faataape …imagine when they have 4-5 injuries and are forced to make similar changes across the field ..

It was not the penalties that was the problem it was the one sided 6 to go's that destroyed us imho,every time the wahs needed a leg up he would give them a 6 again,Anusley would be proud of him.

The kick wasn’t a bad play. In the conditions it would be very easy to spill. It’s the fact he kicked straight into touch, as if he was taking a penalty.

I think this is correct. It will be very difficult to keep up the intensity over 24 rounds as well, especially with a few injuries and suspensions. It happens every year, we start playing tough and then fall away - badly.

But that so called dangerous tackle has me fuming. It was a ineffective legs tackle and the bloke fell over
