How the team plays is just as important as the result in this one, for me.

If they fold like wet paper- we are no better than last year.

If they fight through adversity like they have in the previous rounds- then I think we are turning the corner.

We have every reason to lose this- mostly because our marquee player is out in the biggest challenge we face for the season. Regardless of how effective he has been to date- losing him for this one gives the team the excuse to fall apart. Skelton & Sam Fainu out add to the woes.

I expect us to get pummelled.

If we don't, however- then I think we are set up to enjoy our season. For the first time in years.

Like Morgan Freeman finishes the Shawshank Redemption.... I hope....
Completely agree - I see this game as being more of a 'character litmus test' than the 2 points.

Although the team is 2-2, I think there has been a noticeable difference in their self belief and resolve as a team.

I also think that another reason they seem to come home strongly in the second half could be that they are fitter than other teams, which is bloody awesome to see; especially last week when they had practically no one left on the bench and still should've won.

The team really has a far more solid feel to it this season, and when looking for reasons why you have to see what has changed. Most obvious thing is the players brought in. Although not playing today, I'm sure Luai will still have his presence (albeit less than on field).

If they get lapped though it will be extremely disheartening.

I'm very interested to see how Galvin goes today: His good games he has stuck to the plan, his bad ones he has drifted back to running sideways and rolling the dice every time he touches the ball.

I've felt he has been a bit overawed with Luai in the side and it's put him off his game. I just hope he doesn't think that with Luai out that he has to do everything himself, because that's when his inexperience shows.

Interesting game. I reckon Broncos by 8, with the Tigers showing a lot of heart, but ultimately unable to match it with all the quality players they have.

The thing is we have to learn how to win more often somewhere or we will be on endless carousel of frustration and bitterness when our best players get picked off by other clubs who sell the positives of their home ground advantage and which the fans all thrive on.

we need to get more mins out of Hunt .. last week i think Benji played him for less than 20 mins .. ??
Yep. Surprised how much praise he has been given this season given 30, 30, 25 and 20 minutes.
He has been decent when on the field but hasn't really changed games in his stints. Need either more impact or more quality minutes.

Our record at Campbelltown is the worst out of all our home grounds though unfortunately. Yes you are correct in saying we’ve had some bad teams, but our record at Campbelltown is still the worst compared to other home grounds. I checked our last 30 games at Leichhardt and Campbelltown which both date back to 2016, at Leichhardt out of the 30 games Tigers have won 13 of them not great just under 50%. At Campbelltown the last 30 games we’ve played there Tigers have only won 7 of them, so Leichhardt has almost doubled the wins that we’ve won at Campbelltown. If the club wants to make a move more so out to Campbelltown way they’ve got to start winning. 13/30 for Leichhardt isn’t great, but 7/30 for Campbelltown is even worse.
Would be interested in context around these numbers with regards to quality of opposition and how many we were expected to win. To big a job for anyone to bother looking into but I don't think the win rate alone should be fully shaping the argument.
