Tony Sukkar #292

Broncos were running rampant and he held his own very well playing long minutes. I think as a 20 year old with no experience he showed a lot of promise
TBH after some of the reviews on the Reggie’s games this year I was expecting a lot worse. He’s a good size and certainly something to work with.

What side has Tony been playing in Cup? I'm wondering after last night if he should be playing on the right to put pressure on Seyfarth. Seyfarth is doing a solid job but I think Sukkar probably has more upside as an edge player. He impressed last night with his post contact metres and ability to not get turned on his back. He runs a decent line and as a junior he had a good right foot step, so maybe the right side he would go even better. If Sam is back next week,Tony will miss out, but he should be playing on the right in Cup next week

Pretty sure Sukkar has been on the left in Cup and Porter on the right.

Went well. Still 12 months away IMO of first grade level but looks like he has the potential. Seems a similar style player to Seyfarth imo.

Thanks for that.

This is where I feel we let ourselves down. Sukkar is the next man up, but they have him playing on the side that he will never get a chance at with Fainu there. We need to start identifying where these guys could get opportunities and make sure they are spending time in that role in Cup. I'm not saying develop him exclusively as a right side player, but he should be spending some decent time there to put pressure on Seyfarth
