Yes, it is. He needs to identify which side the ball is going and move across quicker. Always seems to be jogging but maybe that's an illusion. Would be good if he could study Tedesco's style. Always on the ball.

Tedesco had to learn the same, got caught out a bit when younger. But then he found a good coach and a system that wouldn't stand for it

I am not afraid to kick the squad when they underperform. I don’t think they did last night. They weren’t at full strength, had at least 2 questionable tries awarded against them, lost their halfback mid game and still managed 5 tries with a 6th controversially denied.
This side is different to past years. When they click, and they will, they’ll go on a run. We had the design in attack to beat Brisbane last night and with a full side likely win that.we need to fix our defence though. To play ok and still allow 7 tries in is not good enough.

Willison's second try should have been a penalty to us. He runs behind the decoy before scoring. That decoy holds up the inside defense, which holds up Sukkar, and then he basically runs around Sukkar. Has been a penalty to run behind your own player and take advantage the entire 30 years I've watched footy.

Yesterdays game was riddled with pathetic Refereeing decisions.

Forward Passes, Holding down in the Ruck.

The more the Refs try the worse the games are getting.

Not the greatest angle but I thought he clearly received the ball after running past the decoy. That's play on and happens in every block play.
Only bunker decision I thought was probably wrong was the Broncos first try but can accept insufficient evidence to over turn.

I agree , bula is not the gun that people think he is , his defence is really bad when needed , u need to open ur eyes , he is a great runner of the ball , but defence he is very poor

He has been good defensively over his career. His positional play is questionable and it looks like he’s wary of injury this year. He will be fine he’s a star in the making. He’s only played 43 games in his career. Too much expectation is placed on young players by Tigers fans it’s ridiculous.

Well it just took 4 weeks for things to go back to the tigers of old , in the last two weeks we have let in 70 points , I think this will continue , injuries and no decent back ups will see this get worse. Last night they round round us wingers to far in field , bula out of position, so in two weeks we have gone from great defence to tigers of old

Agree completely. This is called a penalty 99 times out of 100. It was the moment I was blowing up the most about. This is a black and white rule. He caught the ball inside the decoy runner and ran around him. Should have been all that needed to be seen. Didn't even get a mention from the commentators. The time of this call was also crucial. It was only 14 to 12. Just after half time. We get the penalty there and we can get back into the grind. Instead, Broncos go bang bang and we are chasing points. Key moment of the game.

The Broncos appeared faster around the paddock, but we didn't cave.
The team attitude and reliance on each other is so different this year.
And I think we're getting better each week - the wooden spoon is destined elsewhere at last.

Nice still shot, this is pretty damning. You've convinced me. I watched it a couple times and couldn't see it.

That is a classic shepherd .. May’s view was obstructed and he would have atleast had a crack at Wilson

How do they miss this but pick up Pole making minimal contact as a driver?

Surely Bula was out of position for that 40/20.
Given the speed he showed to get through the line for the Turuva try he must of been either too far across or not paying attention. Doesn’t a fullback follow the ball? If he was in line with Hunt as he received the pass, he would have got to that. Hunt kicked that extremely narrow possibly less than 20 meters from the sideline.

I'd need to watch mate, but it was first play after half time on tackle 3 or 4 so either way it was unexpected

Good Mana and like youve said it was a solid effort considering the circumstances ie in Bris Vegas, bunker, injuries ect... Despite the score theres alot to like.
I think we go on a run after round 12 or 13 when that consistency comes together with a more settled squad. No injuries or suspensions definitely will help us. Keeping the faith.

While everyone has their opinion I'm proud of the boys and what they are trying to do. I appreciate the effort and commitment they are showing.

Sad that we got towled, however for me I thought we weren't in it most of the game. Even down to twal running over piakru after he had coped some lip from hi earlier.

All I ever want is for the boys to go hard and not quit and that's what I'm seeing personally.
