Lol and there's people here saying my take was the worst they've seen
I never suggested that he is shit or deserves to be dropped.... BUT the hyperbolic media adoration of the father-son Cleary narrative masks his dependence on elite players that have been there for most of his career!

His winning percentage without Luai alone is 70.45% - compared to 79.2% with Jarome (a significant differential of -8.7%) - while Jarome;s career winning percentage remains at 80.74% - & is still higher than Nathan's whether he plays with him or not!!

Same goes for Crichton & JFH....

Ask @Tucker the "stats guy" to confirm the raw numbers if you must...

Katouga doesn't look impressive to me. Inconsistent in attack and poor in defense. True that he's better than tumeth, though.
We didn't let him go - he went to Canterbury to learn from his idol Kikau and then copped the arse from Gus to join a re-building Parra....

He made poor career decisions!

And yet luai tonight is out and the tigers are playing a top 4 team playing better without him. All that energy and defence still there, but even better attack. If penrith are missing him, send him back. We could use that 1.2 million elsewhere

Do you understand rugby league?

Or the word "better"??

FMD!!!

I would think the main job would be to pull up forward passes, we have no technology yet that can decide that, anything else VR can pick up when a team asks the ref.
The touchies are absolutely hopeless, it is no wonder you see the same clowns running the sideline week after week and never get promoted to actually ref a game when they can't do the most basic job on the sideline.

Why don't halves put a chip kick behind the opposition defensive line more often the wingers and fullbacks are waiting for the big kicks 30/40 meters away, Reynolds last night was perfect, no one does it any more.

Ps: the Phil Blake day's, if a player does that now I reckon he'll clean up ( tries, try assists)
