LIVE GAME Round 5 v Broncos

Live Game Discussion
I am deadset when I say this: if we play with the intensity that we did for the first 35 last night for 80 minutes week in, week out, we will make the 8.

starts with a must-win on Sunday.
Wed give ourselves one helluva shot that's for sure, but as we know there's also
things at play out of our control that can determine things.

Disappointed with the results but proud of the effort the last two games....and all season really

Been years since I've felt like this

I’m with you. I picked us to make the 8 in the off season and I haven’t seen anything yet to change that opinion.
The defence needs work and Luai needs to get more involved. Apart from that though, all recruits are killing it and some of those already here like Pole, Seyfarth, Doueihi, and To’a have stepped up.
The Fainu boys and Bula are the key.

I just watched the Hunt NO TRY and that is a terrible decision.
After like 400 replays they come to this decision.
He was about 1 metre over the line already and about 5cm off the ground and scoring himself and Pole touches him. Tell me they take this try of a Storm, Panthers and Broncos team.

Such double standards in the game itself plus in suspensions as well..
Fair chance Richo is on the blower to Annersley tomorrow and tears him a new one.

The AFL admitted their officials made a mistake that could have determined the outcome of a match this weekend. When did Annusley last make such an admission? Annusley is no longer even required to front-up to give us condescending reinterpretations of reinterpreted "rules" that are only applied infrequently to certain teams.

Based on everything I've seen ........

Do we look a much better side this year? To this point yes. I am not ready to say we won't be in a spoon battle though. We are only couple of injuries away...

I don't think there is a clear favourite this year. Moses will help the Eels. Dolphins, cowboys, GC have decent rosters, Dragons should have enough to steer clear and nothing more... think injuries will determine it this year. Ponga, Deardon, Moses etc

Tell you what though- when he's in the clear, he's an outstanding runner.

Just needs to probably back himself a little more.

That said- if he gets tackled we probably hang him off the roof of Suncorp.
Tell you what I've noticed about Bula he is always dangerous when he's running and it's just a last effort to hang on from the defender preventing him from breaking the line.
If only he was a bit stronger in the legs or could increase his leg drive he would make a lot of linebreaks.
