If your going off those indicators “international forwards wanted out” if Benji can coach you need to dig a little deeper and analyse on case by case basis as to why they left. Otherwise just broadly saying “international players wanted out” would mean Ivan Cleary is a terrible coach going off who they have lost. Even Bellamy has lost origin & international players. Whilst most of us would agree the jury is still out on Benji’s coaching abilities I do feel the coaching staff have improved a few players already.

Might be a hard no from Seibold, but he’s the one who signed the liability and has him for another 2.5 years on 700k p/year.

Lodge went full psycho in America. Then tried to right himself at the Warriors and other places.

We never were going to get Suli back. We just don't have the control or discipline for him. Glad he straghtened out enough to make a NRL career, but we take him now and he could regress to year 1.
Lodge, on the other hand... if he wasn't so wedded to Manly now, could be an option.

Lost his place in the top 17 due to an ACL injury but has been back in Q Cup for the last few weeks

He's an out and out centre, tall and rangey who's a really good try scorer. Currently without a contract for 2026

Wasn't even a Storm junior really. Came through the grades at Penrith. Didn't get re-signed there due to off field issues. Signed with Storm. Got punted from allegedly there because he wanted to punch on with Bellamy before we signed him.
I don't think Suli has ever really reached the levels that was projected but wouldn't put him in the FWit category. After his debut season returned 20kg overweight and often late for training. Was punted for those reasons then signed by Dogs. Was only there a few weeks before being punted again for the same issues. Signed by Manly. Apparently he had a lot of family issues going on at the time, I don't recall the details.
At Manly he had mates picking him up and getting him to training. Dessie arranged all his meals because he had no idea about nutrition. He really found his feet in first grade there.
He was offered a good long term contract too good to turn down from dragons, which is why he left Manly.

I don't think Lodge offering Bellyache out the back did a lot for his playing future at the Storm. 🤣

Agee Hank, he had just enough good games in a contract year to extort a good contract out of another club. He has never looked like a player who is having a go. He looks like he just wants to stand out wide waiting for a good ball so he can run over someone, like that’s his only job on the field.

Honestly that is the surprise of this season.

Looking at who we lost... Our forward pack should have been walked over.
Benji picked the right people to keep and is clearly gunning for a pack with speed.

It seems to have worked. Seyfarth and Pole have stood up and a pack is performing far better then I thought would be. We still need to hire a 2rf and another prop... But things are looking better sans Stef, Paps, Bateman and Klem.
