I just love how Manly are loosing DCE... and the option of keeping Brooks, a person who played most of his NRL at Halfback is NOT CONSIDERED AT ALL!

I mean, not a look-in. Not even "hey you can stay at 5/8.." It's DCE is gone and we need 2x halves please!?

Might be a hard no from Seibold, but he’s the one who signed the liability and has him for another 2.5 years on 700k p/year.

people sooking about the WT letting juniors go just think of Suli /dragons .he still hasn't hit his straps and id be guessing his wages have just leveled out from the giddy hights , W e had the best /warriors /canberra U /20 comp players going by results . It amounted 2 nothing . So peeved we let some u20 players go ,apart from Fafita n woods ???? they never kicked on

Lodge went full psycho in America. Then tried to right himself at the Warriors and other places.

We never were going to get Suli back. We just don't have the control or discipline for him. Glad he straghtened out enough to make a NRL career, but we take him now and he could regress to year 1.
Lodge, on the other hand... if he wasn't so wedded to Manly now, could be an option.

Lost his place in the top 17 due to an ACL injury but has been back in Q Cup for the last few weeks

He's an out and out centre, tall and rangey who's a really good try scorer. Currently without a contract for 2026

Anyway lets go roumers. DCE is selling his house. Nathan Cleary's girlfriend makes more then 10x Nathan's salary in britain... Going to guess that Nathan is out of penrith and that they will target DCE with his stupid money. #hearditherefirst

Storm can't keep him (probably cap pressure) so we sign him and he makes his first NRL appearance here.

Heck both Lodge and Suli break the no F-wit rule. I just never saw Suli coming back to us. The guy had talent but man what a troublecase.

Wasn't even a Storm junior really. Came through the grades at Penrith. Didn't get re-signed there due to off field issues. Signed with Storm. Got punted from allegedly there because he wanted to punch on with Bellamy before we signed him.
I don't think Suli has ever really reached the levels that was projected but wouldn't put him in the FWit category. After his debut season returned 20kg overweight and often late for training. Was punted for those reasons then signed by Dogs. Was only there a few weeks before being punted again for the same issues. Signed by Manly. Apparently he had a lot of family issues going on at the time, I don't recall the details.
At Manly he had mates picking him up and getting him to training. Dessie arranged all his meals because he had no idea about nutrition. He really found his feet in first grade there.
He was offered a good long term contract too good to turn down from dragons, which is why he left Manly.

I don't think Lodge offering Bellyache out the back did a lot for his playing future at the Storm. 🤣

As it turns out,none of them were worth keeping..even Ipap is struggling for impact at the Panthers
Need to give Benji some time..a full 2025 at minimum

Honestly that is the surprise of this season.

Looking at who we lost... Our forward pack should have been walked over.
Benji picked the right people to keep and is clearly gunning for a pack with speed.

It seems to have worked. Seyfarth and Pole have stood up and a pack is performing far better then I thought would be. We still need to hire a 2rf and another prop... But things are looking better sans Stef, Paps, Bateman and Klem.

Clearly he has some personal issues going on. Heck Terrell may have said "no".
Sounds like the guy should be training but is not ready for first grade any time soon.

G’day, new guy here. Been following for a while but never seen Josh Kerr’s name mentioned among the signings chat. Would he not be a bad option as an extra middle? Big body, runs fairly hard, off contract at the Dolphins and surely wouldn’t too cost much on a one or two year deal. Wouldn’t appoint him as the leader of our pack but would think he’d make a decent addition to come in and out of the top 17 as needed.

Lots of mates are dragons fans who were very happy to see him go north.

I feel we are trending well and we need to win a few back to back.

I wonder if he wishes he’d have just stayed at pawa running off moses for last few years. I reckon it’s ruined his career moving to us to run off bricksy’s point blank bullets. Now he’s struggling to find that rhythm again with another half. I’m glad his their problem.
