Think of it differently. The reserves 6 is promoted, replaced by the NRL 6. The guy behind was always 3rd string.

That’s fine he slowly disappears backwards , if injured take time to recover and come back via lower / lower grade plenty time about 18 months

That’s exactly how I would have played it if I was Benji . Pretty smart play . You hope the playing group would have your back , because of all the culture building you’ve been doing . But for the guys to come out , and be like “we got you Benji! ” .
That shits galvanising ! That’s how teams come together !

I agree 100%. Benji and Richo need to be clever handling this issue, its an emotional thing but if you got dumped in the worklplace because your fellow staff didn't want you there you can imagine what the fall out would be.
They should tell him he is free to leave, initiate a player swap for compensation and put this bed and not let it drag on. We should put in an offer for Fogarty, could be a good fit for us.
