OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

its big news
we have had way too many junior halfs walk out on us so we can keep Galvin than he walks such a horrible person
Way too many? Sounds like 1000.
There’s one maybe decent half, but he could be a FB anyway.
And to all those half’s that were “to weak to compete”, Lachy’s coming to a club with you.
“Horrible person “
Is there a swear jar near by Joel?

The cowboys shout out as a Smokey is not a bad one ! Payten is a Moses client . And they desperately need a half to play next to Deardon . And are up shit creek with Robson moving on .
It wouldn’t surprise me. But I have heard it’s manly. Could be legacy talk because manly were the club behind the requests to leave last year . That’s where he was going . I dunno ..

bUt can he move away from Daddy on his own?

I'm going to take a guess with no inside info. I'm thinking cowboys for a short term deal also. With a trade for nanai. The only issue I see is Todd might not want to work with galvin after all this drama
And here I was dreaming of a penthouse jacuzzi apartment in swanky Potts Point with an invitation to accompany a recent graduate of an elite ladies college to a debutante ball.

A lot of discussions on NRL 360 last night that Galvin is a 6 & who he could partner with at a new club.

I personally think he could become a 7 within a year or two, with the right coaching. He even looks like Daly Cherry Evans.

I think his ceiling is limited in the halves though and he'll reach Jackson Hastings levels, playing wise, due to his lack of speed and the likes.

Future is in the forwards either way.
Some one mentioned John Sutton & Wade Graham. I really see the John Sutton comparison. Tall, slow, serviceable skills but not just say more suited to the backrow.

With all that side ways running, within a few short years Galvin can be the new age John Bateman.

Gus is partly responsible saying on TV Galvin could be the greatest and highest paid young talent
Knows he can't make offers till Nov 1 so he uses his TV programme to signal what might be coming
He's a User and Abuser of the rules
Braith on 360 makes a lot of sense and is supportive of WT says Sexton playing great this year and doesn't see how Galvin fits in in DOGLAND .

Galvin having a 7 x dot pot grievance list of issues with Benji....

And he thinks Jason Ryles, rookie head coach with just 1 win to his name

Or

Anthony Seibold, a guy who got pushed out of the Broncos and landed at Manly and hasn't ever been respected as a decent coach...

Are going to develop him, better !?

I know it's been said...
It's all laughable & so dishonest.

No wonder Richo said, let me stop you there.
Let's end it here.
There is a genetic connection between them - both Seibold and the Galvin family took Ancestry.com DNA tests and it came back they are related to the white ant genus.

Galvin is going to need a few great games in the top grade this year
If he spends a few weeks in Ressies its like
" out of sight out of mind " and potential value drops
So at some point he might need to kiss and make up so when we have injuries he gets another chance in top grade and if he dazzles in those games he promotes his value back up again .
What I don't want under any condition is that he plays against us in 2025

Yes good post.
To me it’s been obvious for a year now but really encouraged to see so many see it as well.
Lachy is struggling and this will put his development back a couple of years. Given his outspoken nature critiquing others lately, I doubt his new coach and team mates will trust him easily
Yes, he’s very talented and might end up being a superstar but the reality is that his win record last year without Sezer was woeful, and he hasn’t won this year without Luai.
He has a skill set that wins schoolboy games at the moment, and when someone tries to reign my him and play a bit more controlled he can’t handle it. Does he have the skills? Yes. Does he have the mentality? Doesn’t look like it from the last week, so definitely not worth the 1 million at present.

I may be in the minority, but I am not that surprised by this as a lot seem to be. His Dad has been known to have his ear, as well as the others making the financial moves for him. I am not going to castigate the kid and say he is trash; he is far from that, has a ton of talent.

However, the way this has came out and the comments that have been made, I fully back Benji and the rest of the team. We are having a solid start to the season and don't need a distraction like this. Keep him out for the time being and see what happens.

He is a young kid, hopefully he matures and becomes his own man sooner rather than later.

In the meantime, no one player is above the team and I feel content going forward.

Just stumbled upon some interesting intel...

Lachlan's father, James.... quite the promising junior rugby league player, but never made it.

Life long Parra fan.

I wonder who's dream we are really seeing unfold?
We have a way better future than the Eels do also imo. Never really understood the arrogance of some of their fans anyway.

Going by the way senior players have been so vocal with 3 now publically criticizing Galvin, I think the team has been off him for a while.

Players never dis players even at other clubs let alone players at their own club and never publically.

For a 19 to kid to be trashing the coach, senior players and his manager to take a 7 point grievances list to the CEO is ludicrous.

I suspect he has been pretty free and easy with his views in the dressing room and his overinflated ego.

The chickens are coming home to roost and I for one am proud to see the team call galvins shit out. Stand by the coach, CEO and club and the culture they are building 🐯🐯🐯

Anyone got DT article .. senior players want Galvin gone now
What a pity the club has taken this stance at this time.. The team is on a roll and then this controversy regarding Galvin comes up, couldn't it have waited till Nov 1st. We should have known how this would go, it's just a complete disruption to the team club and fans.
And surely it's not up to the term to decide his fate (whether he's in or out) once again are we letting the team run the show !
I am really quite upset that Galvin wants to leave , but if he doesn't want to be here we have no choice but to let him go...
