I think that Benji, Romey and API have drawn a line under all this, Benji mentioned he had a one on one with Galvin this morning. Suggest we move on and assess next week what happens on the field at Lidcombe and Commbank.

Ever heard the phrase ‘to count your chickens’.
I actually think the opposite, I feel this will be a very tough game for us to win without beating ourselves. The guys are emotional and ready to go, be a Thursday game I’d say sure yep they’ll smash it. Having to wait to the end of the week + an extra day. I’m worried there is a chance they will go into the game over focused and it the emotion of it may show on the field.

They are professional now. The way they handled that press conference reinforced that. Galvin was training and joking around with TDS and Turuva.

If Parra don't turn up it could be a bloodbath. Mitch Moses is underdone too, the hype around him is paper talk and fantasy at the eels turning their season around. The tigers have lost 2 games by 2 points, almost 5 out of 6 games! That's consistency.

Benji's legacy here was already unmatched — and yet, somehow, he’s taken it to another level.
If we are to ever new get new stadiums, they should come with a Benji statue.

My worry is they will burn themselves out in the first 20 trying to destroy the eels .
I think there’s going to be some violence in that first 20. Some dudes are going to get hurt . Not illegally . But yea. Hopefully they can temper emotions , and the fans can get them through .
I think Romey is going to destroy the eels . He will run all day at them . And a far more dynamic and scary proposition for the eels than Lachie . If AD can play the Romey role ( which I think he can , then I think they will be ok .
One thing , which I never thought I’d say , we will be far better defensively in contact . The catching tackle style of Lachie , can lead to many a quick play the ball .
