Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

Don't see why a Galvin-Brown-KPP trade needs to be done. KPP is off contract, isn't he? We could sign him anyway and still keep Galvin to trade for something else, couldn't we?
Or we could get possibly 2 players if it happens sooner than waiting till next year rih, Knights might have to let 2 go to fit Brown in.

Hey lads,

Nothing really big or surprising.

From a source that’s pretty close to the situation, if I was a betting man I would say parra are $1.10 for galvin.

Although we have all thought it. It was as good as done.

Not surprising, but as we all know 6 months in football is a long time, who knows how many twists and turns we may have.

An unofficial comment that made me take notice ‘ it can be hard to be the odd one out in a very Polynesian team and vibe’.

No personal opinion here, just passing on info. Take it or leave it 👍

So do u think that any of those can step up over the next two years
I think Kit and Aho can make the transition . I think the Johannson boys can as well , they’re just not big enough IMO. So they need to get on the steaks , cottage cheese , and oats .
But Savea is one man . He’s a gem . But he’s a long way off .

I’m guessing we are far from the only club interested in KPP, therefore it could be a case of trying to and get this cram done tj get him to us now, or face the risk of not getting him at all.
As I’ve stated previously I’m only 50/50 on whether or not he would be a good signing for us or not and whether or not he would live up to his hefty price tag, but it’s a case of supply and demand, we need an edge back rower and preferably one with a bit of x-factor, he’s virtually the only one available anytime soon that is any chance of being what we need.
Also add to this who would we really want from the Eels and who would they offer in return for releasing Galvin early ?
I think we would just be banging or head against the wall waiting for them to offer anyone decent as part of a possible player swap.

I just knew Samuela and his boom box would cause a rift in the sheds. Guess we can say goodbye to Seyfarth, Twal, Doueihi, Bird, Naden and TDS

Interesting line from Buzz article:

Bula is on a good $700,000 deal and his car from his previous manager.

But it means nothing to Moses who knocked back $6 million to take Galvin out.

Previously Moses has moved Luke Brooks, Aaron Woods, James Tedesco, Mitchell Moses, John Bateman, Dave Klemmer, young forward Brandon Tumeth and now Galvin from the club.

Moses makes no secret of the fact he doesn’t rate Benji Marshall as a coach.

As far as i'm aware, Tumeth is still at the club and yet to sign elsewhere?

We wish Tumeth was gone . Remember when we almost couldn’t get May over the line because we had no roster slots. That was tumeth , wouldn’t take the buy out !
