I would agreeTds will follow Galvin to Parra. Club has a massive opinion of Haywood.
He's still young and learning off Api he needs to be patient and bide his time, the minutes he plays doesn't justify big money you need to be an 80-minute player to earn that.I’m not so sure about that.
I’ve followed Da Silva’s career since his Harold Matthews days, so I’m as happy as anyone that he’s progressed to the player he is now, but my question is what is his current t value and what will he be worth from 2027 onwards ?
He is tough, very fit and very quick off the mark, but he has never really had deception in his passing game and although his defence is improving, he is still a lightweight in the middle and doesn’t exactly whack the opposing ball runners when he is defending.
I couldn’t pay him a more than 400k maximum at the moment and I think its likely he’s looking for a lot more than that.
As for Haywood, he is 2 years younger than Da Silva and looks taller and bigger. Haywood has a bit of deception on his passing game g game and a more confident kicker of the ball in general play.
Similar to Da Silva he is not known as someone who whacks in defence, but being a bigger body I’d say he could end up being a stronger and better defender.
He does remind me a bit of Jacob Liddle. Maybe a little bit stronger.I’m not so sure about that.

Da Silva is 5 months older than Haywood and has stood out in Flegg and NSW Cup for the last year whenever he played there. I don’t think Haywood has played NSW Cup yet.I’m not so sure about that.

Yes but I’m talking about value for money.Da Silva is 5 months older than Haywood and has stood out in Flegg and NSW Cup for the last year whenever he played there. I don’t think Haywood has played NSW Cup yet.
Haywood may well make it as a first grader but as it stands now he’s a fair way behind TDS.
I think Reynolds played some junior footy in the Balmain competition for Leichhardt Juniors or Leichhardt Wanderers before moving to the South Sydney competition.Reynolds would know when his body has had enough. Richardson would also be well aware due to their time together at Souths. I believe Reynolds was always a Souths player.
Contracted till end of 2026Would love to enquire about Zac Hosking from the Raiders. Affordable and efficient 2nd rower….
Can I ask, what skills is Benji meant to be coaching here?I’m not so sure about that.

what do we do then if Haywood gets to TD's level and we lose him?Tds will follow Galvin to Parra. Club has a massive opinion of Haywood.
Au contraire mon ami, IMHO, he could be our next Farah.🐅💪I’m not convinced on TDS either
We can have both 🤷♂️Tds will follow Galvin to Parra. Club has a massive opinion of Haywood.
Might be a reference to the Anzacs also.TDS doing that Terrell May salute after his try implies to me that he's really buying into the culture and people here. I think he may well want to stay and make allowances for the Club.
(this is, of course based on body language which is not an exact science...)
Im keeping TDS over Api in 2027.Yes but I’m talking about value for money.
I’m purely speculating and think Talyn would likely stay with us if we can match other offers, but what is his value at the moment ?
Even if we decide to keep Api after 2026, his contract value would be reduced due to his age.
If we were to extend Talyn for 2027 and beyond, would you go any higher than 400k per season ? I couldn’t justify going higher just yet.
