Was at the game .even at the warm up they looked disinterested. Wasn't shocked by the score .Storm did get a bit of luck from there kicks but when our side are just arm grabbing what do u expect

I suspect a divide in the playing group can be patched over when wining, but as soon as a game gets tough it becomes a big issue.

I hate Melbourne for the fact they cheated the cap and didn’t have the good grace to put their hands up. But you have to admire them . They didn’t take their foot off out throat in the second half and also kept us scoreless. That’s what good football sides do.

I’m not delusional like some others on here. I expected a cricket score even if we had those players available bud. Sad fact this is the first time this year we have faced a good team. Was always going to happen.

We beat the sharks - we shouldn’t have…
Broncos weren’t that good against us (and haven’t been since) and still put a decent score on us.
The other teams we’ve played were beyond ordinary and some of them we didn’t win.

I wasn’t thinking it would be that bad - but wasn’t surprised it was bad.

Look this was obviously a very poor display and we were totally outclassed like we expected to be. However I don't think it was as bad as previous hidings we have had. Even though we didn't score a try I think our attack structure and ability to create chances looked better than ever. We let ourselves down with poor last pass execution.
We started the game very well, a freakish try gave them early momentum. Poor defence after that and its 10 nil. We did well to get into the contest over the next 5 minutes and we looked great. It could have easily been 2 tries all but a lack of class and execution meant we walked away with nothing. Against a far superior team who were on fire, you have to take those chances. I think if we take those early chances we lose something like 30 to 18.

Our marker defence was disgraceful. Our kick chase terrible. We put no pressure on their kickers.
Staines at right centre was a horrible coaching decision that needed to be changed after 30 minutes.
Galvin was downright horrible. And he has been horrible for a long time.

As long as they can bounce back mentally, there are some things to take away from the game.

We have to drop Galvin. I don't care who you put there, they can't be any worse. Mason, Falls, Latu, Bird...I don't care, just get rid of this kid

Come on mate. We stripped Melbourne very effectively at times but stuffed the last pass. We had more players in motion than we ever had those few sets early in the game. We just couldn't get into the arm wrestle. Don't get me wrong, some huge concerns. I said last week we have beaten no one and lost to some ordinary teams and today has proved what I said. However I think some signs are coming with our attack and I know that sounds crazy considering we didn't score a point. However if Latu can get fit we gain a half that has that touch of class and it will make a huge difference. He is also strong defensively. Toa back at centre and our attack will click. The key is getting rid of the 6 who consistently puts us under pressure.

They are the only team this weekend to have done so as well.
A few others put an excellent half together but couldn’t be ruthless.
This may get Storm on track to go all the way.
