I agree with most if not all of that, but also think Luai has to walk the walk better than he is.
He is the highest rated, most experienced and decorated player in the side yet has not contributed as such. He has amassed just 3 Dally M points from 9 games. For comparrison, Galvin and Bula are on 10 and May is on 26.
It's also within what he is allowed to walk it...

I think we all know, that Benji has accommodated Galvin since round 1... and this shift back to Luai is wont happen overnight, it might take a few weeks.

It will be interesting to see what happens when Latu is fit.

Any other team I'd say let him develop in NSW Cup, but after spending some time reading the post in the NSW cup thread, I don't think there is any development there to occur - he will only go backwards...

He has more leverage now. We lost 70 - 0. First grade football.
Nah, worse last year. "Hey guys your coming 17th..." (assuming ur talking Taylan M).

Now ofcourse a 64 point blowout sucks. But it's the Storm.
We can say no, Although don't want to loose Terrell if we do.

Another thought, Terrell is going gangbusters in the frontrow. If we have to train Taylan back to first grade fitness, why not in the 2nd row? have the brothers play together in the front.

Panthers cant afford him back
If we tank this year ,he gets a fresh start in Perth in 27 if he wants it....but unlikely any more $$...
....to achieve the same as he wld do here at WTs...Bottom quartile
But a bigger stage
plus no Benji baggage

So been watching and to me he is definitely carrying few extra kgs, lost significant amount of pace and for me he is a ball playing lock forward and no longer a really effective 1/2 or 5/8.

Thought he had his worst night for us.

I know we were defeated across the park, but I expected much more from Luai when the game was still very winnable.

No idea if it's instructions or what, but Luai should be the main man. Not fricken Galvin.

I also understand he may not be a 7 naturally either, but as the senior player with (usually) a lot more confidence and voice - he should be the one leading the team around.

I expect him and Api to be orchestrating every set, but we just don't see it.
