I think we all expected Stefano to go to another level at Melbourne, but he's the same plodder. This is surprising not only because he's in the Bellamy machine but also because they've been much more dominant in momentum than he ever experienced at the Tigers and for us that would usually be when he has his big games, but he's not really any different in his play.

I get May, Api and Luai not getting picked, with May being the most hard done by, but picking Stefano in the extended squad is just really poor and does unfortunately highlight that the perception of our club has a huge impact on rep selections.

It really hurts recruitment because it reinforces the point that leaving Wests Tigers or not coming here is a better career move. I’m filthy they picked Moses, he’s a fairy boy choker who’s played one good origin.

Stef in origin… pffffft. What a load of rubbish.

Yes May’s first contact in defence isn’t the typical origin model, but compared to Stef… pleassssse.

Which player who was well and truly in line for Origin selection missed the boat when state officials did their due diligence?

They contacted the player's club from last season and asked if the man concerned would be a good fit for the team.

The club came back with a firm "no way" because of his attitude and off-field antics.

The coaching staff took the hint and left him out - even though on form, he well and truly deserved selection.

So it was his previous club contacted. Rooster's Fitler jumps on the pile on.

Can't stand the Blues' culture, hope they get smashed.

(I just have a feeling the Madge to Daley change will leave Billy on top.)
