OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

look at Riccio he kept saying 3 weeks ago to braith that Galvin will not be at the club by june 30 and kept coming back to the bullying claim as the issue.
We papered over the cracks with wins against sharks and dragons but seems like the allegations might have some legs
We papered over the cracks by playing him in first grade, the wins were a bonus.

On Kentys podcast he basically says that the bullying claims are embarrassing and the club just wouldn't want them getting out. I am paraphrasing, but something to that effect.
I reckon we would know about it by now if there was any substance. Kenty is an old eel isn’t he?

$150, 000 transfer fee seems perfectly reasonable for a player who is on a contract of $350,000 why would any club be prepared to pay more.
We don't need to be putting two and two together and backing Moses claims - the man has no ethics.
Bulldogs paid $500k to get Karl Olaupo who was supposed to be promoted to a Broncos top 30 spot but they reneged. Can’t tell me he was on $350k

I’d really love to know how Galvin has been bullied.

Playing first grade and getting the ball whenever you want it as a 19 year old must be awful for him.

It’s all BS but maybe the club can’t afford the legal fees.
Or the distraction. Sounds like they just want to put it to rest at last. Seems this is how Moses always gets his way - just agitates, persistent like a little pathetic pest and doesn’t stop until the club gives in. He’s probably been at them since Galvin first asked for a release last year or whenever that was. [This word has been automatically removed]ing worm

Wouldn’t we be paying him $150k if there was claims of being bullied that we didn’t want getting out?
Maybe. Up until now though, it seemed like we were in a reasonable bargaining position, with the market willing to pay more than he is on, so it seems odd to me that we are only getting a reported 150K out of it. We wouldn’t even get a full year of Naden’s knock ons and poor decision making for that money…

Yeah maybe “not afford” but it’s not exactly a good investment. Like what do we get out of it if we win. He’s leaving and isn’t winning us games in the mean time. Literally dropped the ball over the try line…

What behaviour was considered bullying?
I don’t know because I haven’t seen the legal documents. I can only assume the 2 x twitter posts are part of it and May giving Galvin a spray when he was addressing the team about leaving (as reported in the media).

And to think, not even 3 months ago there were a select group of posters on here claiming Galvin was the best teenage prospect of the last 20 years.

Now he's a disruptive bum that cost us a win against Souths.

Where has Mrs Galvin & Moses gone with their constant banging on about how great Galvin is?

This.

It's very strange...

Option 1] Parramatta.
They've likely got to shift D-Brown immediately to accommodate this.
We've babied him throughout his career. Mitchell Moses is a known sprayer, team mate blamer, sook. If Galvin dishes up what he has been at the Tigers, there'll be no holding back and he'll cop it, from Moses. He seems the emotional type, don't think he'll enjoy that vitriol.
Also their coaching system is abysmal.

Option 2] Bulldogs.
What seems to be a very well oiled machine, with some great coaching in place.
They will have to destabilise their current winning system in some way.
Wether that's shifting out Sexton or Hayward [who's been fantastic] off the bench. It's very destabilising for what is currently a winning formula. This could really de rail their season. It isn't like bringing in a bench Prop to help out when needed.

I think Option 2 is an awful move for the dogs & they deserve better, their success has been fantastic to see.

I've always felt he's off to Parra.
Few pieces to fall if that occurs.
We might see KPP to us sooner rather than later too, which is a win.

HOWEVER....
It would also be GREAT to see Parra offload a player to us. Not just Brown to Newcastle.
We need this to benefit us in some way, with Galvin leaving not just being the only positive, perceived or otherwise.
I don't think Parra's coaching is Abysmal, but were talking a totally different coaching staff this year. Their management is horrifically abysmal.

Your right, when your coming at Nr1 like the Bulldogs are. Making a change can only bring you to Nr2. The bunnies game was pretty shocking, if Galvin can't clinch those moments then he is not a player Gould will want there.

I posted this earlier today this is my hope.

If it’s Galvin to Parra I wouldn’t do the 3 player trade for KPP I’d swap him for Lomax(unlikely) or Hopgood.
When Parra get Galvin they wouldn’t need Brown so they’d want to ship him to the Knights anyway who’d have to free up space by releasing KPP to us.
So a 2 for 1.

We shood stop talking about this Guy probably cost us at least 4 computation points with his wrong op0sions but never gets challenged .Why He is a cancer that will destroy the culture that Benji is trying to bring here but we all know 1 bad apple will be owe downfall .Go Westigers
