Latu Fainu #282

There would be nothing nicer than for Latu to come back on time, and absolutely slay it from his first game back. Defence, attack, smarts . . . but without the headless chook sideways useless runs, and glacier fast runs at gaps.
So even the media have to eat some humble pie and say " this guy is a greater asset than Galvin"

I’ve liked some of his touches through the games he’s played and he seems to be better at straightening the attack which we seem to lack the ability to do.

I’m hoping he channels Shawn Blore, post Tigers as he was always injured with us and finally came good at the Storm. Hopefully Latu can have an injury free run once he’s back and cement the other half spot.

His bro samuela is also a bit injury prone
Is he really??

Don't let facts get in the way of an ill-considered hot take FFS!!

Samuela's literally started 33 of 35 games since arriving at the Tigers - AND plays 80 minutes!

I've made my statements about the goldfish mentality & low IQ of this club's supporter base before - but there is consistently more evidence...

Kautoga ...dolphins...love how he straightens the attack ...draws defenders then can twist more than 90' and fire a bulllet out the back
Funny thing Ink, when I'm trying to describe the way that Latu plays vs how galvin plays . . . . to non WT mates . . . I say the closes thing in NRL is Kautoga.
He's not there yet of course, but that's the style he plays.
Or it could be the haircut 🤣

I agree Latu is the better 6.
Galvin would have been really useful on an edge - likely rep level.
Its a shame we couldnt sell it to him.
Strange thing is in the reserve grade games I watched , he’s been somewhere been quiet and ordinary. And yet with limited opportunities in first grade, has shown his talents.

Its funny eh? There seems to be a few like that
Most on here wanted Sione Fainu sacked before his brothers even got here, once we saw him in first grade he has changed many minds. Bula was another. When Sheens started talking him up I watched a couple of reserve grade games and was very underwhelmed. Hes never looked back since making his debut.

Could they be trying to avoid injury so if their 1st grade opportunity comes, they are ready, noticed this too.
