He and Chammas won’t be on speaking terms after this. Gould was shaking.Just walked in the door to see that… Gus blabbering 🤣
Who wrote that @vlad
Playing along with the pantomime was Richardson, an old-school operator who initially stood up to Moses but was ultimately outplayed by him.
He insisted a board meeting held at the start of last week had nothing to do with Galvin being granted an early release. Two days later, Galvin was given permission to talk to other clubs.
The night before the board meeting, Galvin told Souths players after their match at Campbelltown Sports Ground that he was Belmore-bound.
By Friday, Galvin mysteriously popped up on the Bulldogs’ radar. By Saturday, they were favourites ahead of Parramatta. By Sunday, the deal was all but done.
“What happened this week is the goalpost got moved incredibly,” Gould said on Sunday afternoon.

Funny LG would be telling opposition players he was going to a club that had publicly said they weren’t interested in him & at that stage weren’t even allowed to approach LG .
"Mind your words son"He and Chammas won’t be on speaking terms after this. Gould was shaking.
With some luck the NRL will investigate this and validate this with the Souths players.

It appears Gus might need to go and get his stories straight.Gus just contradicted himself on 100% footy
Earlier in the show he said he hadn’t talked to LG
Now he’s telling a story about Toby Sexton who he told that he’d met with LG
I thought I heard him call Chammas 'son'"Mind your words son"
CHammas fkn hit him good
Tmw is going to be a media frenzy over this
Its a shame it's overshadowing origin
Furthermore does this not validate what a piece of work this kid is?With some luck the NRL will investigate this and validate this with the Souths players.
This is the gift that keeps on giving.
Yep - cost us a game - too busy planning his try celebration that was leveled at an opposition coach to the club he was going to.Furthermore does this not validate what a piece of work this kid is?
Rhymes with truckerYep - cost us a game - too busy planning his try celebration that was leveled at an opposition coach to the club he was going to.
Who still wants to wish him well or question why our players may be over him??
I’d bet on Richardson knowing Galvin was never going to accept an offer and tried to pump his price up.

Ive been thinking this way myselfI’d bet on Richardson knowing Galvin was never going to accept an offer and tried to pump his price up.
Big question is why the NRL aren’t questioning why he took massive unders to sign elsewhere.
Why am I tagged in this?I said in a response to a fawning post from @tig_prmz about his belief in Gus's Gospel - that Gould always speaks with a forked tongue and is a pathological liar who leaves massive human collateral in his wake at EVERY club he has been a part of!
I will take it one step further - Gus is scared of actual success that he can't claim total ownership of!
He hasn't come close to being involved in an NRL Premiership winning team since sitting above Ricky at the Roosters in 2002 (then losing to Penrith & Bulldogs in 2003 & 2004)!
Gould brought in significant external funding to Penrith via James Packer & both Federal/NSW political pork-barreling through his connections - but they only started winning Premierships when he was shown the door!
His scatter gun recruitment approach to stockpiling then prematurely offloading young talent without investing in development has been his trademark!
(Just ask BMM - Sitaleki Akouala - Te Maire Martin etc who he recruited from the Tigers with big promises...) or Ivan & Griffin who were just chess pieces on Gus' checker-board!
And his "marquee" veteran signings like Civoniceva - Maloney - Merrin - Kite - Soward etc...
This Galvin subterfuge has completely derailed a Bulldogs team that was humming along & winning through self-belief and collective defensive effort - and was potentially set for a Cinderella run like the Tigers in 2005 or Penrith 2003!
Again - Gus has created his own excuse to set the club back to supposedly bring in the X-factor they need to win the trophy...
He's a self-serving douchebag!
Dont be so sureIt doesn’t seem like his addition will be the distraction most have predicted
True. But for the time being I'm on team chammas.Yeh but chammas....hardly a friend.of the club. All are self serving
