Not losing faith... Just skeptical to start with.
It doesn't matter who you are, and what you've done - Seems it's always harder at the Tigers.
We've had a couple lucky victories on and off the park, But still hard to say we're anywhere near where we need to be.

He did say there were 3 signings to announce in 3 weeks (long past now) and it was intimated or assumed they were NRL signings - And External...
There's been no NRL Signings and few NRLW External signings, Which doesn't faze me so much at the moment...
But it does make you wonder if those signings aren't announced - What else is he pessing in our pocket about?

I'm also over releasing players to not replace them,
Almost offensive in dismissing their value to the squad.

Sacking Miller doesn't really explain Galvins repeated requests for a release last year though does it

Currently our first choices of an outside back sitting outside the Top 17 are Faataape, Naden and Staines…who are all off contract at the end of this season I believe …I will certainly be open to new players coming in

Our contract was a proposal of a package, it was a 5 year 6 million dollar agreement that factored in 3rd party payments, it was never ever going to take up 1.1 million in salary cap every year.

Galvin has taken 750k for this year at the dogs which goes up 25% over the the length of the deal

throw in the third party payments from laundy hotels.

he is earning more than he would have received at the tigers.

Conveniently the media are forgetting that Galvin was on 250 this and 350 next with us.
So he would have already been paid about 125 given it’s about halfway through the contract.
So the dogs are giving him an additional 750 this year on top of what he has already been paid?
Out of curiosity what salary would our deal have him upgraded to for next year in that 5.5/6m package?

I don’t think it would be that brazen. I think it’s a little unfair that he’s being tarred with the same brush as Galvin. The circumstances are completely different. If he sees his path here blocked, and another club is offering him a starting role, why wouldn’t he take it?

Because he has a chance to learn off one of the best, gf and origin winner, with a transition to starting, more minutes over 2 seasons…he’s not blocked.

I guess being back-up to Bula is a better option for the lad than being back-up to Ponga and Sharpe 🤷‍♂️
