maybe the idea is he takes Mason's spot as back up to Bula and Mason sticks to the halves.

I guess being back-up to Bula is a better option for the lad than being back-up to Ponga and Sharpe 🤷‍♂️

Connor Votano is a fullback. From the Central Coast. I saw him star for the Blue Haven Raiders back when he was in the under 13s. Tall kid with plenty of poise, can score points. Played NSW under 19s from memory.

Given we have a fullback, I guess somebody in the club thinks he can become a centre or winger ?

But it wouldn’t have helped.
The blokes who played in that Wests Matt’s Cup winning team are pretty tight - aka Galvin, DaSilva, Mason, Laulilii brothers, Miller, Leatigaga, Craig ...

Not losing faith... Just skeptical to start with.
It doesn't matter who you are, and what you've done - Seems it's always harder at the Tigers.
We've had a couple lucky victories on and off the park, But still hard to say we're anywhere near where we need to be.

He did say there were 3 signings to announce in 3 weeks (long past now) and it was intimated or assumed they were NRL signings - And External...
There's been no NRL Signings and few NRLW External signings, Which doesn't faze me so much at the moment...
But it does make you wonder if those signings aren't announced - What else is he pessing in our pocket about?

I'm also over releasing players to not replace them,
Almost offensive in dismissing their value to the squad.

Didnt say three players, didnt mention how many.

I wonder how well known it is in league circles that were basically running on an oily rag, resources and funds nowhere near other clubs

I gotta bit of a theory that Miller’s fitness wasn’t up to the offseason army training camp , and they didn’t want him there as a distraction not able to keep up, and also setting bad examples for what was going to their big off season culture changer …

It may be a move by Richo to prepare for life without Bula, given Bula is managed by Isaac Moses. I believe Bula is under contract for 2026, but for 2027 either us or him have to activate an option in his contract for that additional year (if we activate it it costs more, if he activates it costs less - $100k difference from memory).

Players not replaced concerning for sure has really messed with our depth but only miss probably Ice from a 1st grade perspective Bateman and Klemmer not so much as thin depth is without them.

Had the feeling coming into this season that we had made some good additions but the squad still not strong enough to make finals, expectation was more wins than previous and no 50 pt floggings, well only one alive now.
