They changed Luke L to Charlie Murray now.

Always interesting when there is something very different happening and Mason at 6 is completely different to Galvin. I suspect a Luai Mason combo would work better if the had a genuine lock to open space for them, but still, it will be interesting viewing how a sharp speedy 6 goes for us. Mase just needs to keep it simple. Percentage plays, kick long, give Toa early ball and run

Game is in Townsville. Murray is from Qld. Not too hard to pop the parents on Jetstar & fly up to Townsville at short notice (ie, first thing tomorrow morning)

Please no! I have watched him all season and Charlie is a cup player at best. He tries hard & probably is good club man but so was Tom Freebairn.

I think Heath will be a much bigger threat with ball in band than Galvin. I think he should have a run first mentality. He does possess that explosive speed which makes him a threat. When passing he will hopefully straighten our attack allowing our outside backs more space.

being of short stature he should win us a few penalties also, what with players running into the defenders chests . Mason is too legit to milk it but if he chose to , id cheer him on

I know we say this every week but this game is so important for the team, coach, club and fans. A win keeps us in the fight and boosts morale after such a dogged 4 or 5 weeks. Really hoping we can snag it.

Puts pressure on Luai to do all the kicking though. I've not seen much from Mason in Cup in the halves although he hasn't had the quality of players around him he will now.
