Really hope Mason has a directive to not kick the ball once. Just run, run run, and run again. And pass if something is on. I feel like he’s a kid who could jump out of the ground and be a real gem.

Just hope he plays on instinct not get stuck in that slow moving backline passing. He has shown spark in previous games, more of the same Heath !

Agree, he's shown at nrl level he can play and he's a nuggety guy with a burst of pace. Tried hard.

Need the boys to seriously rev up tonight and put in, need to show the rat king noone is irreplaceable. Just hoping Mason makes his tackles and runs straight first before doing anything. If he can straighten our attack and buy Luai a second or two extra before engaging their line and vice versa they've done they're job. Just need to run at them not in front of them.

The guy I was talking to this morning use to watch Mason in the juniors rates him highly as a 5/8 he said he hopes he gets at least 6 weeks to settle in and shine

Mason did some very good things, kids a talent for real. Nice to see our 6 not crabbing sideways and jamming up structure...
Not disciplined enough to win in the end, and the bins cost us 4 tries. If you do the math we take home the two points on a controlled effort.
