I know a few guys that have worked with and for Harry, and I can tell you he is a tight as a ducks behind, no way he is throwing money at the club to build his profile or as a distraction in retirement like Uncle Nick. He would want a guaranteed return on investment on the field in wins and trophies and unfortunately, we are not the kind of team that can offer that.
last i heard from Harry ,he said he would always tip into the club, but if they wanted a substantial amount, he would have a major say in how it was spent.

We don't need to fill 3 positions before June 30th, as the players that left this year can still count in our top 30.
I'll take it that you are correct which is some what of a relief.

So, are we currently counted as having 30 or do we still need to sign someone?

He didn't build that money by giving it away.

If you look at the handover reports of most Meriton apartments, he didn't build it by spending on quality employees or products either
McDonald Jones is the same, 💩 💩💩

💯 💯💯agree.

I am a massive supporter of Richo but we need 2 things:

1 - We need to announce some signings if we have them to settle us all with some good news..

2 - We need to grow some balls and stick up for the club, Players and Supporters by talking about the refs and how we are always on the wrong end of calls. Them 2 sin bins tonight which costs us the game would not have been sin bins for any other team. The refs know we don't complain or blowup like Hastler, Ricky, etc.. BUT guess what it works as they seem to get a fair go unlike us.

Sorry not trying to whinge but just over getting walked on every single week and no one sticking up for us and players.

I'm starting to see why players want to leave because they know we don't get any favours...

So can you explain a possible motive why the club is singled out by refs ? What benefit do they get for punishing the team?

It’s not that, the team is starting from a low base. Ie 17th and as Tucker proved the most undisciplined team by a fair margin last year.
Refs go oh your doing that on purpose more often then giving the Tigers the benefit of being careless or just plain unfit (which is the real reason).

If they are the most undisciplined team in the comp, then they will be punished for it ..picking Naden every week is not going to help with that …. But when the team gets announced each week…. There he is again

Benji said he thought they were harsh,,,just matter of factly, no anger, no vitriol.
Waste of time anyway, and itd do us no good imo

People underestimate the mess that Richo walked into.

We signed a few high calibre players in the off season and there's every chance we have another one or two still to come, potentially this season.

If we finish 12th this year after 3 spoons, it's a great improvement. Don't get me wrong I want that top 8 spot, but i am also realistic that we lack depth and a few quality signings - all which couldn't happen in just one offseason with an unproven coach. Benji has done alot for his credibility this year as a coach, that's my opinion and i stand by that. He is a man manager much like Bennett..

The difference between the bulldogs and tigers is the tigers had 3 back to back spoons. The dogs had 1.

The dogs also had a stable club administration, ours was a circus.

Mikel Arteta is a a great example of building the right foundations for sustainable success.. folks call for his head because he hasn't won a trophy yet... But he got the team to be top 4 in Europe this season and 2nd in the PL... After years of failure and coaching changes...

Yes, Mikel did his time under Pep - Benji never did his apprenticeship, which makes this situation a bit different ..

But Benji has openly said if he isnt the right guy to lead the club forward he will step aside.. and I don't think we have seen anything to suggest he isn't doing a good enough job with the current cattle we have.

After the Galvin saga and how Benji held himself and rallied the troops, players want to play for him. He is the reason we got Luai, May and Hunt. Those that value a family first and have young kids + a team first when it comes to the club, are going to want to come here .

I understand it may appear much of a muchness to others, same shit different year, but Richo has a history of success and is one of the best administrators in the game. Without him we would be absolutely fkd.

We just need more depth. Plenty more depth. Losses against Parra, Souths and tonight are all caused by a serious lack of depth. And Royce Hunt, either being absent or being wasted used in our starting lineup.

But we've lost Klemmer, who would definitely have helped in tonight and against Souths, Galvin and to a far lesser extent, Johannsen, with very little in and that has not helped us this season. The members deserve an explanation.

I thought it may have been this time last year that Richo was going to make the call on Benji. If it wasn't then, then it is now. Mal and Perth are a better destination club than we are atm.

Benji wasn’t gonna get the sack after one year as the head coach, not many coaches get the boot after one season. In saying that though the rest of the season will decide his fate.
