No premierships for sooky lala and parra’s premiership window is firmly shut.
Maybe not, but winning SOO for NSW last year, as well as game one this year and playing for Australia can be considered successful.

Didn't watch the game but I heard apparently bulldogs dominated the whole game, Parra barely had any attack and the commentaries were all over Galvin

I might just neck myself if the dogs win the comp the bulldogs winning it without Galvin is bad enough but If they win it especially with purchase of Galvin we wouldn't hear the end of it

I think we let him get away with his crap because we were worried we would lose him - in the end i think we were glad to get rid of him - no doubt he will thrive at the dogs. But i also believe we have the makings of a better team without him.
I have no respect for players who switch over to ladder leading teams mid year and then expect to bask in all the glory if they win the comp. Haven’t put in the preseason or the hard yards with that team to get them to where they are in the first place.
I remember SBW doing similar once. He came back from overseas to join the premiership favourites the Roosters right before the finals, hoping to get a premiership ring for doing bugger all and taking the place of a more deserving player in the process. I was so happy when they were bundled out early that year.
Not quite as close to a finals series switch for Galvin, still some way to go in the comp and time for him to earn his place. Still don’t respect those sorts of moves though.

I was intrigued to see Moses and Galvin shaking hands after the game. Straight face from Moses, no words exchanged, very cursory handshake, think he’s pissed off Lachie didn’t go to Parra.

Well he hooked Mahoney today( who’s supposedly on the way out), moved Sexton to dummy half and Galvin to 7. Not sure if that will continue but interesting to watch.
A lot of pressure on Galvin today but he came through it well and scoring his try was the perfect intro.
Good side the Dogs, interesting to see what happens in coming weeks. One thing for sure, the road has been cleared for young Latu so hope he takes his opportunity with open arms.

As much as I disliked it, I thought it worked well and can continue to work well for the rest of the season. It was a move that i can’t recall anyone one predicting so hats off to ciraldo. Interesting the players themselves didn’t know.
