Its the entitlement that gets me...You do realise that luau is away this week playing a state of origin game? That he has played in 5 grand finals and that other players are drawn to play with him and he drives the standards off and on field ? I absolutely cannot believe the pettty criticism levelled at him by our own so called supporters.. give him a chance ffs .. look at the cattle he has around him at this moment..

3 for this year, 8 for next year.i think 2 still
Someone was saying that players like Bateman, kelmmer and Sullivan can contribute toward the number required pre 30june.. can't remember if it was here or on a podcast.3 for this year, 8 for next year.
Guys from our forum reckon we don't have to fill the top 30 this year.
Penrith have a nasty situation this weekend. 7 players in origin camp. Game in Perth on Wednesday. Fly back to Sydney Thursday. Then they have to be on a plane to NZ on Friday night for a Saturday game against the Warriors, one of the in form teams in the comp. Wouldn't be surprised if they got touched up.Roosters got done dirty with the draw, playing all major byes before Origin. The draw this year is a mess. Teams have byes, then 2 or 3 weeks later have another. Will be nice when the Bears come in in 27 and we have an even amount teams again. Till PNG.
That’s correct. As long as someone was contracted this season (starting Nov 1), I believe it counts.Someone was saying that players like Bateman, kelmmer and Sullivan can contribute toward the number required pre 30june.. can't remember if it was here or on a podcast.
Yeah, that’s rough. Origin players have already been ruled out.Penrith have a nasty situation this weekend. 7 players in origin camp. Game in Perth on Wednesday. Fly back to Sydney Thursday. I wouldn't send the players. I know their position but that will effect them the following week as well. Rest up and go for it the next week.Penrith have a nasty situation this weekend. 7 players in origin camp. Game in Perth on Wednesday. Fly back to Sydney Thursday. Where'd that get invented?Sydney is originally home for him.
??? Aaron Schoupp from manly why? He’s a centre who has converted into playing a few games of back row over the past couple of seasons, we need depth don’t we ?
And to top it off they have the Thursday night game after that against the bulldogs.Yep
What great scheduling by the NRL to have a game scheduled in NZ
on the weekend after SOO in Perth.
Which computer system will they blame this on.

Also why am I the only person here rallying against more "Depth".
Seriously the more we spend on Depth, the less we have for the "Big 17"! It means the really hard sells like Luai was for us or going for Payne Haas or Adam Reynolds or whomever... we will have 800k instead of 1m available.
The more you spend on 18-30, the less you have to spend on 1-17. Now you need some forwards and maybe 1 back and a halves cover kind of player as Spare... That's all.
Why would we hire AS and block Makasini and others coming through our ranks! Did we learn nothing from Ryan P.
Ah, but they would / might actually be in their proper positions with Moses 7 and Brooks 6. Would be interesting for posterity to see if the suspicion of them being played the wrong way around was more correct than wrong.Brooks and Moses together again. That would have been something in 2020.
Sadly Moses is now one of the most injury prone players in the game and Brooks hasn’t improved since Cleary was coaching WT.
Not disagreeing on need for depth but didn't Kepoa just come back to Magpies in State Cup from Penrith? He too can play back rower and centre- wing.I disagree because you need depth in your squad to make a decent impact in the modern game. You always get injuries/suspensions so you need decent replacements. At a minimum you need 22/25 capable first grade players imho.
I’d agree with you any other time, but he really does seem to be playing like he’s gone on for one season too many. I think retirement beckons. We don’t need to sign any more has beens, no matter how good they once were. Not a huge fan myself but he is a 1st grader
Has experience and would be a starter for sure. I do get the want for pezet etc but with dce week in week out you know what you get
