I don't think Bula is a $900k player... $600k at mostWell ..neither are Tedesco or Edwards level ..
I don’t think Brimson is any better than Bula …

They could have come up with something to placate his concerns. They could have done a deal that kept them both happy.I’m not sure they stuffed up the contract negotiations with TDS …when push came to shove the coach preferred another player …let’s see down the track if he made the right choice
When you have got options your have got choices.
Some players value transitioning under the guidance of experience some want it all sooner.

It now looks like he wont even get anywhere near completing his current contract. Thats a stuff up if it occurs.
Totally different the Panthers had salary cap issues and wealth of talent that they couldn't afford to keep or match the offers that other clubs were prepared to pay to lure them away.If him/his team telling the club they will go elsewhere if Api stays is classed as an ultimatum, then is it any different to Luai telling the Panthers he wanted to leave because he didn’t want to play second fiddle to Cleary? The Panthers have a lot of examples of players leaving the last few years to get better roles elsewhere. Hopgood and Iongi are two players who immediately come to mind. Was Iongi leaving considered a dummy spit cos he had Edwards in front of him? This sort of thing has been going on for 100 years, players leaving to get better opportunities elsewhere. And it’s usually clubs like ours who benefit, cos we are the sort of club those players come to.

His defence was amazing, especially when he went to the edge, at least 3 times he drove back the attacker 1 on 1.Yeah I've mentioned for a long time especially in comparison to Galvin and a possible move to 13, Latu has exceptional defence especially tackle technique & in the wrestle. He's one of the best on the wrestling mat in our squad too.
We will agree to disagree, one is an explosive constant x-factor attacking threat, the other is a stats collector,
Yeah yeah, its never the clubs fault is it?Like his mate sees his future elsewhere - it's that simple - and you will never convince me that he wasn't well aware the future plans the club had for him, not sure when the club became aware that we weren't in his though - maybe Gus promised Lachie he get the two of them over there.
What about the fave Da Silva is off contract?Totally different the Panthers had salary cap issues and wealth of talent that they couldn't afford to keep or match the offers that other clubs were prepared to pay to lure them away.
yeah .. titans have a full spine of fullbacks .Such an X Factor FB that the bottom of the league club he plays at prefers other options at the position
There are no guarantees of a FG position at any club and there are no guarantees that Api has got another 3 - 4 yrs as a FG DH either.I don’t believe too many 20 year olds are signing up for another 3-4 years in reserve grade when they have first grade options available in the next few months
It will be Makasini’s fault, the ungrateful little prick when he leaves too. And Bula and Fainu. No wonder the club never improves in this regard, cos they never have to answer for their decisions. It’s always the players.Yeah yeah, its never the clubs fault is it?
Weve just been so incredibly unlucky to have such ungrateful bastards playing for us....
Latu can play, we all knew that prior to last night, but he did show he looks very comfortable in the halves except his kicking game needs plenty of improvement.
However he and Jerome in the halves still need plenty more attacking threat and x-factor around them to help turn us into a genuine top 8 team.
If we as a club cannot see that we will continue on this lovely journey we have been on for the past 15 years.
hopefully LG leaving means fainu’s will stay now we have plans for all of them , how good was it seeing them all together on the field .It will be Makasini’s fault, the ungrateful little prick when he leaves too. Every time AJ plays fullback his teams scores plenty of tries and he is heavily involved in most of them.Such an X Factor FB that the bottom of the league club he plays at prefers other options at the position
Who said that? It's his choice to make and he doesnt see it with us - I can think of plenty of reasons why - but not buying that Api was blocking the pathway.Yeah yeah, its never the clubs fault is it?

Galvin definitely won’t be a factor by the time Latu’s contract is up. It won’t matter that he’s starting, he’s still no certainty to stick around. This club’s record at retaining key players is atrocious.hopefully LG leaving means fainu’s will stay now we have plans for all of them , how good was it seeing them all together on the field .
