PSM Director and Agent Chris Orr is proud to announce that rising talent Isaiah Fretton has officially signed with the Wests Tigers for the remainder of the 2025 season, as well as the 2026, 2027, and 2028 seasons.

A huge congratulations to Issy on this exciting next step in his rugby league journey. His dedication, discipline, and relentless commitment to his craft have all played a part in earning this opportunity.

Doubtful - Lucky you, You've pointed out the only bloke in the NRL to take Coke (EVER!!)

- His organisation of his edge defence and talk out there makes him worth the weight of Turuva and Skelton alone...

Turuva thinks you tackle with your mouth.

looks like he'll be part of either our Balmain or Wests Matts setup next year before SG Ball in 2027-28. by all accounts he's a middle.

yeah because that’s what the club really needs , a sacked winger that was doing lines literally at the clubs game .

Nope - The Club really needs to win Football games.
Speed and Experience helps that happen.

Turuva and Skelton don't hold a Candle to Addo Carr - On either

That was the point I was trying to make, players with sheer speed such as Addo-Carr seem to always destroy us, yet we do not ever show any interest in these type of players.

Thanks for this update. He is written up in the Titans' pages but he is a West Maitland junior who was part of the Keebra Park SHS Scholarship scheme. For those interested, see the attached page.

Tyler Harper continued at halfback for the Tweed Heads Seagulls in Round Six of the NRRRL U18 competition against the Kyogle Turkeys with Tyler Harper kicking four conversions with the initial conversion coming in the 11th minute from mid-way between the goal posts and corner post on the left...

Raised the point a while ago that if Benji's attacking strategy is to play expansive you need more speed in the outside backs.

While myself and I assume almost every Wests Tigers supporter agrees these changes do make us slightly stronger, are they enough to turn is into a genuine top 8 team ?
I believe it’s not quite enough, we need 1 more quality outside back and 1 more quality forward as well as a quality back up halfback to compete with Heath Mason to be our next in line for our NRL halves if we have injuries or a drop in form.
Even then we need more quality added to our depth as it’s very unlikely the likes of Adam Doueihi and Charlie Staines will hang around as purely depth players.
Do we have enough speed and attacking threat in our backs and do we have enough tackle busting ability in our forwards, the short answer is no, that’s what we need to add if we are being serious about finally cracking the top 8 with Benji in charge.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, you cannot challenge to win a competition with a team full of hard working grafters with very limited attacking threat.
Latu Fainu looks like he’s a player who can definitely help with this, but he won’t be able to do it consistently without some extra help of 1-2 more quality attacking players.

Getting there but agree still at least 3 more quality players needed to be seriously competitive next year.
Plus I’m not sold on Taylan May at this stage so would like to see another centre come out of nowhere as well.
