OFFICIAL Lachlan Galvin #277 *Released* Career Discussion.

His strength is his passing and ball playing...as well as his enthusiasm and energy popping up everywhere creating an extra man
Except where he’s over the top and that extra energy bubbles into cramping the sideline and running centres and wingers out of room. There’s a very good footballer there but also a big head and he just needed to bide his time. Not our pronlem
Now

To be fair to the dogs they defended very well all game, penrith were intentionally targeting Galvin when he came on and had success.
With the ball in hand dogs just made too many little mistakes which added up. Penrith attack looked clunky at times and they only scored off a charged down which goes to show.
The defensive intensity was high but the quality with attack was not for both teams.

Even though all the talking heads are raving about these two teams, Raiders are sitting pretty at the moment as well. Beat Newcastle tomorrow night and they’ll be outright first with 2 byes up their sleeve.
I agree - everyone raving about canterbury and penrith - yeah it was a good tough game but i cant see either side winning it this year. Penrith are no where near the side they have been the past 4 seasons. Blaize Talagi is another with potential but geez he stunts their backline. I think the panthers missed out on 2 tries due to his ball hogging.

Latu Fainu >

Let these goofs get all the praise.
We got the real diamond over here.
I agree D but if rumours that he is out tonight are true, I’m concerned he’s so injury prone ! Wasn’t it his Mum who said he’s always hurt. Our strength and conditioning team have got to do some serious work in ensuring he can withstand the pressure of first grade.

Aren’t the rumours that Luai is out?

In an intense game like that, which was very close... Ciro should've used Benjis tactics of leaving Galvin on the bench the entire game.

Reshuffling the spine was the end of em tonight.
100%

Sexton and Mahoney link up beautifully to create a try. Next minute wonder kid is on running sideways.

I'd be livid as a player in that team. There is no need for Galvin at that club, and I'm going to love watching their season go down the drain because of it.

When you say rumours, so far it's just the forum troll saying it, and he was talking about Luai not Latu.
I heard a rumour that that Seyfarth is actually an alien, there you go let's run with that too.

Yes, he is a work in progress but they are a couple of years away from him being a consistent contributor.
On the flipside, I thought Crichton didnt play his natural game and was a ballhog as well. He seemed too keen to stick it to his old team mates - very reminiscent to how Luai played against them a couple of weeks back.
Cleary still has the wood over these guys mentally.

Agree
Also had Cleary and To’o both with leg injuries carried into the game.
Huge effort by both.
You learn more from your losses so I think the bulldogs will actually benefit from this game.
The best game of rugby league this year by far again proving it’s all about defence.
And of cause the referee having hardly any input.
No Ashley Klein show,
What was the penalty count and 6 again total last night ?
