The more I digest Fridays game I think Sexton isn't the worst option for what we need & to what's on the market. I agree with most & see Latu & Luai as look term halves but right now we need a ball playing 13 & a 14. Mason isn't there yet.

Personally I'd be signing Sexton now on a 2.5 year deal.

Very frustrating why we always sit on our hands and do nothing, instead of at least trying to identify and sign a player or two who could potentially help us.

I'd go Gagai for 2 years. Makasini is only 17 and gives him 2 years to learn from a former international/SOO rep centre.

Worst case Makasini leapfrogs him before the end of 27.

I see no downside particularly with the alleged $400k price tag. That's close to an average wage in NRL these days

I hope we sign Gagai so I can stop supporting the tigers for good

not every recruitment move is significant. it’s about building depth which we have zero of.

Honestly, things never change with this club. There was no good reason to move Tallyn on early. It could have been at the end of the year at least. We need his cover. No top team would do what we do and then we wonder why we’re perennial losers and a feeder club for the top teams. Because we roll over like puppy dogs at the first sign of someone wanting out.

The Api decision is fine, but letting Talyn go early is ludicrous.

Can’t wait for her he upcoming announcement signing - Hope and Sukkar promoted to top 30 and extended. This club is so stupid.

I think Ilias on the cheap would be good although I do not see him as a lock. He's a smart player who lacks the athleticism to be a good NRL player.

Yes, unless we have some other players in the bag. Otherwise Tallyn and Galvin gone for nothing is absolutely outrageous. The spoon becomes more and more of a reality.
