Signings, Suggestions & Rumours Discussion

I know you are a Bula fan, but honest opinion do you believe he’s as good or a better fullback than AJ Brimson ?
I can’t help that think the Titans will be happy to offload AN Brimson as they just re-signed Kini to a long term contract, they are both out and out fullbacks, AJ struggles to find his best in any other position and it’s no good for their salary cap having 2 fullbacks both on big money contracts.

Why is Brimson some type of standard ? F him … I’d keep Bula over him

AJ is the better fullback but he’s locked up til like 2030 or something. I think once latu & luai get more runs together it should unlock Bula a little more. For some reason GC are going with the spine full of fullbacks it’s been done on purpose

I’ll put it to you this way, AJ has played for Queensland and his current form is no less than it was back then.
Bula qualifies to play for Queensland from his Keebra Park days, do you think he’s been in Billy Slater’s selection discussions and do you think he will ever be selected to play for Queensland ?

They will have to let one of Kini, Campbell or Brimson go for the good of their team and salary cap balance and I can see it being Brimson.
If it happens we will probably not be interested and he will end up somewhere like the Bulldogs and win a comp with them.

he’s said he doesn’t want to play for Queensland though

Brimson has triple the games under his belt, but which is the better fullback is up for debate. That tells me enough to bet on Bula.

Last 3 seasons Brimson hasn't topped 14 games.

I think I know who is better overall value..

Bula wants to play for NSW … we know they are slippery with qualifying …

There is also zero chance Brinson is joining the WT to play FB in front of Bula

Plenty of duds have played Origin mate …Im also making a decision based on now … not years ago

Heath Mason's suspension sees Sunia Turuva shift to fullback, with Charlie Staines set to make his return to the side on the wing.

Api Koroisau's concussion means Adam Doueihi will line up at five-eighth and Luke Laulilii is elevated to the starting team at centre.

Tristan Hope and Charlie Murray are both set to make their second NRL appearances, with Hope to start at hooker and Murray an inclusion on the interchange bench.

Alex Twal skippers the side in the absence of Jarome Luai and Api Koroisau.
