Any more than half and you may as well keep him on the books …next season anyway …I mean…he was good enough for the Super Coach Bennett to pick in the 17 most weeks …

That would be the smarter thing to do, but once Benji is off a player they don’t generally come back.

So do we get to pay for his medicals and rehabbing … after he got injured playing for another team,did Souffs just hand him back ?

He will be south’s problem until end of contract - maybe November , so he should be back on his feet by then as that’s 4 months away , broken leg pending by damage 3 months

Unlike a lot of others I don’t think Sullivan’s contract is that bad.

Yes he’s on about 150-200k more than he should be but we now need cover for the halves and hooker and he can play both.

If we had him now uninjured he’d probably play NRL every week.

Getting a replacement that fans wouldn't call 'useless' would cost the club just as much.
