do you guys think we might dip into the market for another back up hooker to do short stints for api and when he’s injured or just stick with api 80 minutes ?

Need a backup plan. Ideally Mason or Hope grow into the role.

He’s given him enough rope to hang himself. Say what you will , but if Benji does get rissolled , it will be because he couldn’t get the wins , and really I know there’s worry the playing group will follow him out the door , if I’m a player and the coach got fired because he backed me and I didn’t get it done , the only person I’d have to blame is the person in the mirror .
This is a different tigers . Theres little upper management meddling , there’s no signings of your mate from 2GBs mates son (Fulton) , it’s simply the way it should be . All on the footy field .
Benji unlike any coach in our history , has only himself to blame really if he fails to get the necessary wins . I’m a loyalist , so obviously I want Benji to stay , but it’s not looking good .

This. If Richo sacks Benji now the players walk. If it's in 6 - 12 months after doing everything Benji wanted, Richo can tell all the players Benji was given everything and couldn't get it done. If they leave they leave but it gives Richo a reason for punting him.

I don't think it's unrealistic to carry 3 dummy halves out of 30 players. Ideally one of those dummy halves has the ability to play elsewhere too.

What you don't want is to lose Api & look around & think....now we have a problem.

Until Hope proves himself, we are in that position.

Other thing that might be a bit of a worry was listening to Adel Hage on the wests life podcast say there's a rumor floating around concord, he's not 100% sure if it's accurate, that the only reason Galvin was brought back into first grade is because HBG demanded he be in first grade. Hopefully it's just rubbish and HBG arnt getting involved with the way things are being run.

If that is a true rumour it only reinforces my opinion that HBG and Dennis the dope are the greatest danger to our club for the future.
