Makasini was very good. Taking into account he's still 17 and playing against men, he was outstanding but also considering he came on in the second half against more tired men that had done plenty of defending.

He broke tackles, looked up to it physically, he's a good passer and was not at all awed. Totally looked like he belonged. There's not heaps of 17 yo. players I've seen who, even at this level, look like that.

May and Makasini are very different players imo and the only comparison I'll make is that both of them looked good.
 
Terrell May is not only a very good F/ Rower but a very good bloke with it.He is putting his career on the line for the club in not so good times.By extending his stay he is letting Luai and other players in the club and future players that might be signed in Nov1 that he is there for the long haul.Above all he is showing his total support for Benji and the club.A few more like him would show the doomsdayers we are here to stay. Well done Terrell.

The option is in our favour for 900k. There is zero risk he can leave.

There is also an option in his favour if we don't activate ours at 900k, he can activate his option at 700 or 800k...can't remember the exact figure.

It needs to be activited by the club by Nov 1 according to Riccio, otherwise he can go to the market for 2027 …his option is $800k

Surely he needs to finish this season very strongly with a couple of man of the match performances to earn his 900k per season contract ?
