we got1 of those ,its called Bud SullivanYeh happy for him to go. Get a 5/8th on 700k and use the 500k leftover for something else. Doesnt create anything.
To be fair I didn't expect him to star based on the other dozen games he's played for us.Haven't watched the game yet but coming off Origin and flying to NZ not sure how people expected Laui to star. If we were a better side he would be rested
Yeah unfortunately his defence and setting up tries ain't good either.we got1 of those ,its called Bud Sullivan
i like the fact we are starting to have above average choices in the back lineYeah unfortunately his defence and setting up tries ain't good either.
Might make a difference with two fast outside backs outside of the 5/8th.
Next year how about this.
1. Bula.
2. Turuva.
3. Marakisini
4. May.
5. Toa.
Toa used to be a winger. Least a bit of speed and power in the centres
Exactly. Our forwards are rubbish and have been for years. May and Api are genuine NRL standard but the rest are either marginal NRL level e.g Twal or KOE level e.g Sukkar. That’s the brutal truth.Would help if we had the go forward needed to create momentum. Can't win without the right pigs - wouldn't matter who it is in his position.

1/2 the problem is the continual blow ups n restructures. We need to show stability (and I don't mean through wooden spoons) to show players we are a good club.If Richo is the administrator he once was he has a huge job to do. First thing is to rid the club of the 2005 boys club coaching team from Benji down and then try to convince up to 6 quality players to come to the club. I don’t think he has the stomach for the first job and I don’t think he’s capable of the second job. If I’m a good player I and want to stay that way I wouldn’t join WT for any money.
He doesn't have to make the match winning play - it's a team sport.Sure, but when we are on top and do have field position he doesn't do much.
I wish I shared your optimism mate. Apart from Morris, who has some coaching credentials, our coaches are rank novices. I like them all as former great players of our club but I haven’t seen any evidence of good coaching all year.1/2 the problem is the continual blow ups n restructures. Blowing it up will only mean starting from scratch again.
Whether Benji is up to coaching needs to be played out further. Hopefully we will find some better players to bolster the team next year and build on what has started this year.
